The AP actually is reporting from Israeli sources. They must be running out of “anonymous sources” within Hamas and Hezbollah.

The hatred towards the Jews drove Nasrallah to plan an invasion of Galilee. It also led Sinwar to plan an invasion of southern Israel. Sinwar stole the thunder from Nasrallah by attacking first, leaving Nasrallah no option but to support him. This hatred blinded them both and led to their downfall. One is officially dead, and the other’s body has yet to be found.

I will argue that in actuality, with Hezbollah effectively dead and Hamas essentially gone, things are cooling down.
Whatever Hamas and Hezbollah has in their arsenals they haven’t used will probably get fired, like a punch-drunk fighter trying to hang on by thrown haymakers hoping to get a punch in before their lights get turned out.
