PHOENIX (AP) — Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday will make her first visit to the U.S.-Mexico border since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee to confront head-on one of her biggest vulnerabilities ahead of the November election.
She is scheduled to appear in Douglas, Arizona, as former President Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans pound Harris relentlessly over the Biden administration’s record on migration and fault the vice president for spending little time visiting the border during her time in the White House
Immigration and border security are top issues in Arizona, the only battleground state that borders Mexico and one that contended with a record influx of asylum seekers last year. Trump has an edge with voters on migration, and Harris has gone on offense to improve her standing on the issue and defuse a key line of political attack for Trump.

Harris is well beyond too late....nothing she does or says now will alter the damage and danger she has put this country and it’s people in.
It’s a little bit late. The country has been destroyed financially and culturally as well as become extremely dangerous from terrorists and criminals.

The Trump Campaign really needs to fight back on this in a campaign ad. Not only does to dispel this crap but it show what a phony Harris is.
Also, this article is nothing but a campaign ad for Harris by AP. No attempt to explain why Trump did not support the border bill and many attempts at trying to say Trump’s attacks on Harris are wrong.
Perhaps a short walk to Nogales for some shopping.
Revealing how bad the bill was would help Trump, therefore the silence.
Is it really that dangerous to walk or drive around in Mexico as an American? I’ve not been there ever. I recall reading about people celebrities vacationing in Acapulco and it being a desirable resort area.
After that token appearance, she will return later that night to stand on a runway to block the incoming illegal alien flights her administration is running.
