Funny thing is that there's plenty of stories that they can do without having to be "woke". Aladdin is a good story. And they didn't have to be "woke" to come up with that.
The Disney brand has become poisonous to me. A movie might sound interesting to me but upon finding out it was made by Disney , forget about it.
I love the smell of schadenfreude in the morning! Evenings, too!
I wonder how many jobs one decent, wholesome hit movie would have saved. Going woke has consequences.

There's a reason you don't see straight white males, thin women, and Asians in television and streaming commercials - those three demographics have walked away from television and streaming.
The international bankers who control the stock are the ones pushing the woke agenda.
While part of it is the fact they are shoehorning "The Message" into everything with a progressively heavy hand the other part of it is that no one with writing talent will work for them.
They cheat you out of your royalties.
There are any number of good writers out there that could come up with scripts the push "The Message" without it being tripe. But they will not work for Disney.
They would like to actually be paid thank you very much.

I listened to Matt Drudge's radio show in the 1990s. His favorite word was "hemorrhaging." Every Saturday, Drudge would hyperventilate "They're hemorrhaging ratings! The legacy media is hemorrhaging! It's a bloodbath! ABC's ratings have plummeted from from X to Y. CBS is hemorrhaging! They're all hemorrhaging!"
Conservatives would eagerly lap it up, thinking, this is the end of liberal media.
And yet, despite all that "hemorrhaging," the legacy is media is still here. Yeah, ABC's ratings are much lower. But so what? The same few companies own all of media and tech. What do they care if you watch them on this channel or that channel, on this website or that one.
The female teenboppers hired by Disney to be made into “rock stars”.
