If they toss it in its entirety, Trump might have the right to sue the state for an unjust prosecution ... my guess is that they will reduce the amount of the penalty to a pittance but allow the case to stand precluding him from suing the state.

NY is a blue state and i’d be surprised if they overturn this. Hopefully the SCOTUS will. None of the cases against trump have any merit.

The damage was done - weeks of constant negative headlines about Trump’s “fraud” and “corruption” that did not exist.
They successfully pushed down his ceiling of potential support by at least a couple more percentage points.
A trial purely for media consumption to highlight Trump as a criminal/crook. Outrageous does not begin to describe it.
