Donald Trump doesn't like having a bullseye on his person. Iran has been threatening his life for years and lately, U.S. intelligence told the Trump campaign that “real and specific threats from Iran to assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States" were underway.

Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone. There’s no direct evidence that Thomas Matthew Crooks, who took a shot at Trump in Pennsylvania and wounded him, or Ryan Wesley Routh, who shot at the former president in Florida and missed, were connected to Iran in any way.
But there was another plot that involved the Iranian Revolutionary Guards who hired a hit man to target Trump. Asif Merchant, a Pakistani national, shadowed Trump, attending rallies and traveling to his appearances. He had been promised $1 million by the Revolutionary Guards if he killed Trump.
I believe the real prople trying to take out Trump are from right here.
Yeah, there are some other threats, but I also think that they have Trump believing it is all Iran. They want to shut down his campaigning and it may be working.
I’m watching him on FOX from Trump Tower. He’s marvelous with the reporters. He’s answered more Qs in the last 15 minutes than Harris has done in 4 months. My only wish is that he let the election of ‘20 just go.
This will not stop the Iranians what may. Slow them down is the prospect of Tehran & the mullahs turned into radioactive dust particles in the stratosphere. Yes I know it’s noisy & hard on the real estate. But they need to learn that yours you Find out the hard way!

Hopefully most Freepers would agree with me that Iran killing a former President, even Jimmy Carter, or Obama or Biden, would be an act of war no different than Pearl Harbor and would require/demand a full all out attack on Iran.
I don’t think I would agree with nukes but B 52’s, B’1’s and B-2’s dropping 2,000 lb bombs on refineries, oil storage, off shore drilling rigs, ports, military bases and so on 24 hours a day for about 6 months ought to bring about the end of the Mullahs.
I read from that statement that Trump knows a lot more about the attempts on his life than he’s able to let on, and that things are being done on his behalf by white hats both in and out of government to protect him that he can’t publicly speak to.

And I believe you are absolutely right. Who would benefit the most? That is who did it period. And it benefits a whole lot of criminals who are NOT Iran much more.

Nope, they already had a span of four years to do that if they wanted to. and believe me they wanted to. It is not them, they are not who would benefit the most.

It’s a bitter pill to accept but the U.S. may have brought assassinations to U.S. soil by our past involvement in assassination activities around the world such as those against heads of state Saddam Hussain and Muammar Qaddafi. As these adversarial states go nuclear and the dollar loses its reserve exchange status, the days of being the world’s policeman will come to a screeching halt.

If it was Iran over Solemani, they have had some years to hit Trump ....and...they could have hit him earlier in the campaign when he was wasn’t as well protected or expecting it.
Odd that this is all happening a month out from the election.
I am not buying it. Seems like Ukraine could be involved in the last attempt but here we are, everyone is showering attention and billions on Zelensky. Makes no sense.
