Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was disbarred in the U.S. capital on Thursday by a Washington, D.C., Court of Appeals, months after he lost his law license in New York over baseless claims he made alleging the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

So making the baseless claim that the 2016 election was stolen by Russian collusion is perfectly OK. Using millions in taxpayer money to hold a fake investigation is perfectly OK despite not one shred, one iota of evidence or cause. And how many lives were destroyed? How many people bankrupted in legal fees? They get away with this shit because Republicans do nothing to fight back. All we get is Trump, Guiliani left out to fend for themselves while pigs like McConnell hide.

FWIW - the “Washington DC Court of Appeals” is loosely analogous to a State Supreme Court. It is a court for Washington DC only. It is not a Federal Court
I’ll defer to any experts, but basically this is a cheap political and PR move to generate a headline. Giuliani was licensed to practice law in DC, but that may have simply been “by appointment,” as he was a US Federal Govt attorney previously in the 1980s.
He obviously is not practicing law there now, nor has he been (if at all) for a very long time.
Its the equivalent of being publicly kicked out of a club you haven’t even attended in 30 years, so the club managers can make a PR gesture.
