Dont mail your ballot. Postal workers can’t be trusted. Take your ballot to the esrly voting location in person.
That’s what I do. I haven’t trusted my mail carriers since 2004.

What a shame. A crying shame.
They don’t have early voting locations in Oregon. They have the drop boxes and either way, the post office is involved because we saw the postal office picking up the ballots from the drop boxes.
My Pop was a postal Union delegate back in the early seventies(as kids we got to go to Washington and see the sights)and when he was their local representative, he was forbidden to make political statements or use official postal symbols or letterheads in a partisan way
Maybe things have changed since he retired and later died but he thought he would get in big trouble he even didn’t ballow political bumper stickers on any of our cars.
Times have changed, I guess.

I have a fairness gene.. And it’s been tested to the max for too long. This cr.p gets old.. And there has to be millions out there who live with hate and ignorance.. They are being led around and lied to.. And they still keep believing it..

My Pop, being a rural letter carrier and Union delegate would have left you sprawled on the ground with a bloody nose if you said that in his presence.
Here in the South, due to a “one size fit all pay scale” working in the Post office was a pretty good job unlike up north in the big cities
He and his co worker friends took their job very seriously and when an elderly person on his route didn’t pick up the previous day’s mail he would get out of his jeep and hand deliver their mail to them until they got better,vor unfortunately in many cases died.
It slowed his route time but he couldn’t just pass their boxes full of letters and unfortunately,mailers and circulars, of which he hated(as much as costumers getting them) as it meant stopping at every box on his route. This blowed especially during Christmas!
But I’m afraid those days are over and you’re lucky if the mail gets and stays in your box. If kids haven’t played “mailbox baseball”!
But he and his coworkers would have never pampered with any mail, much less absentee ballots.
And he was a Democrat, until the flight controllers tried to go on strike and Pop said Reagan had every right to fire everyone if him as they couldn’t go on strike as government workers.
But,alas, those were different days.
I could easily, happily and willingly do completely without the USPS. It is a service that is now obsolete.
The postal service is compromised now. We can’t trust them to handle mail in ballots with integrity.
Hand your ballot to a person. Don’t mail it if you have any other option!
In 2020 there were a lot of suspicious things going on. If your father would have assaulted me because i heard about questionable behavior which was a part of the Democrat fraud stealing the election from Donald Trump, then i hope he would get arrested. Government employees work for us, and we expect integrity.
