On Monday’s “CNN Newsroom,” Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), stated that “The Biden-Harris administration has an excellent record of trying to engage the international community to calm things down. They’re doing that right now in the Middle East.” But acknowledged Hezbollah is an Iran-enabled organization that is attacking Israel and the U.N. and other countries in the region haven’t done enough to combat Iran.
Cardin said, “International events are occurring, I don’t think they’re directed towards American politics. The timing of elections [is] always inconvenient in regards to international events. The Biden-Harris administration has an excellent record of trying to engage the international community to calm things down. They’re doing that right now in the Middle East. Quite frankly, I think the way that the Biden-Harris administration has been able to get the international community to help Ukraine, to deal with some of the crises we have around the world, works to the advantage of Vice President Harris’ campaign.”

I’m sure everyone noticed how quickly the two homos doing it in a Senate hearing room on video, one of whom was a Cardin aide, disappeared from the news.

You don’t calm terrorists down by giving them pallets of cash.

I was wondering who this idiot is.

“the U.N. and other countries in the region haven’t done enough to combat Iran.”
True enough.
However, the Democratic strategy of sending billions of dollars to a radical, terrorist nation like Iran didn’t seem to work either.

Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), stated that “The Biden-Harris administration has an excellent record of trying to engage the international community to calm things down.
Let’s see. When the Biden-Harris admin took office, Putin had not invaded Ukraine for the second time, Hamas had not invaded Israel and kidnapped hundreds, the Houthis had not effectively closed the Red Sea, Hezbollah was not firing hundreds of rockets into Israel and the Taliban had not gained billions of dollars in U.S. military equipment.
If that constitutes an excellent record of calming things down, I don’t want to imagine what would be a poor record in your eyes, Senator.

How naive! The bad actors in the international community don't want to calm things down. If they cannot be persueded, they need to be read the riot act from a position of strength. Not begged, nor bribed with pallets of cash.

I noticed how much calmer the ME had become as Biden/Harris pursued the completion and implementation of The Abraham Accord...
Really admire them for that...
