James Spann this morning mentioned it “might” come in around Mexico Beach. I pray not as they just got the big hotel rebuilt this past year. Spann said to wait until models come in for a better idea of what this will be.

We are hoping for a few days next summer at Mexico Beach. I love it there!

Spaghetti models are consistent, at this time, having it coming in around the Big Bend with the rest of the peninsula getting rain and some wind. Tidal surge could be a big problem for the whole west coast.

?? Y’all- did they do an adequate job warning Ga and Carolinas about flash flooding? They knew it was pulling all that moisture inland but did they warn anyone besides Florida to evacuate?? Could they have done more when they were so focused on covering the landfall area live to warn the other states to evacuate too??
