Why should anybody be knocking on doors of Republican voters? they’re already registered.
We need to register people that aren’t affiliated with either party.
What do the internal polls say? Is the campaign too far ahead or behind there to make any difference? Is the campaign money being targeted to where is can actually help?
Who are the assassins?
Who has ever changed or made up their mind who to vote for because someone knocked on your door?
If it was a race I didn’t have much interest in I’d be sure to NOT vote for that candidate just because intrusion on my privacy.
Associated Pravda is building their narrative.
You are either in or out it’s very simple
Just checked indeed. They are hiring canvassers in Maine and New Hampshire. Both sides.
I never liked doorknockers regardless of what they’re peddling. It’s best to have a fenced perimeter, cameras, dogs etc. We unfortunately live in a world where unknowns entering your property uninvited should be seen as a serious potential threat.
Who wants to risk getting the door slammed on us, or worse?
More trolling from one of our resident trolls.
Have seen many Kamala ads on tv, no Trump ads. I’m in a strong Trump area, but it’s loaded with Harris signs and a couple of Trump signs.Very difficult to get campaign signs . Bought two small signs from Amazon for 20 bucks. Trumps daughter in law and Whitley aren’t doing enough.
Here in Middle Tennessee I saw a Harris/Walz marked truck in a convenience store’s lot with one of those gender-confused people in front. It was asleep at it’s card table of forms while the store’s customers were quietly giving a wide berth.
I suspect the reduction of signage is due to the majority remaining outraged from 2020’s election theft. People aren’t in the mood to just yell at any liberals daring to invade their yards to vandalize (click click).
I can remember Obama having teams out on the streets with his elections.
In PA. Numerous visits.
That article is also posted on X by Republicans Against Trump. Tells you all you need to know about the concern trolls promoting this story.
I’ve seen a great many Trump signs in rural MN and WI.
I am glad.
1) I wouldn’t answer the door.
2) Random door knockers would annoy me.
Knocking on doors is essentially useless, because very few people answer. I ran for office two times, knocking on about 32,000 doors. I could probably count on my fingers and toes the number of people who answered the door.
From what I understand, this depends on the state. Turning Point Action (https://www.tpaction.com/) is focusing in on Arizona and Wisconsin. Starting in early October through election day, they are even putting up people from out of state in hotels in order to door-knock and work on the ground game in these two states. There are at least a couple of different PACs working on the ground game in Pennsylvania.
I know Ben Shapiro was talking about how people were complaining about the disorganized ground game in Michigan, although Turning Point does have some paid operatives and volunteers there. As far as I can tell, we’re relying to a certain extent on Brian Kemp’s state-wide organization in Georgia, for better or worse. The Dems have a much better ground game than us in Nevada, but we do have efforts to reach folks out in the rural areas who are often ignored.
I know the official Trump campaign ground game efforts (https://trumpforce47.com/) are present in all the swing states and Virginia, as well as to an extent in NE-2 and ME-2, though, they don’t seem to be as extensive in the way the Democrat efforts are. And they are encouraging people outside of these places to volunteer to make phone calls. They are also planning on getting out of state volunteers to work in the swing states starting 72 hours prior to election day.
We definitely need more volunteers and funding (join in folks!), but I think we’re doing better than the previous two times Trump ran.
So, you people, get off your butts and Knock!
There are organizations (Local Republicans, Charlie Kirk’s Turning point action, Trump 47, and many others) that will give you instructions, help and materials.
Not too hard, except here in Phoenix during excruciating heat, but we do it anyway!
