Teamsters President Sean O’Brien isn’t happy that Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized the union for refusing to endorse Kamala Harris for president. On Thursday, in response to her comments, he made the spurious claim that the Teamsters in AOC’s district overwhelmingly support Donald Trump.
Speaking to CNN’s Dana Bash, O’Brien said, “[Ocasio-Cortez] should maybe get into her district, where it voted far-right Republican, and maybe find out what the problem is.”

Imagine in a war battle, the captain telling his troops that he can’t endorse destroying the enemy because, he is conflicted in his mind about his former allies on the other side.
That’s Sean O’Brien. Traitor to his union members.
The fact is that, O’Brien should never have to represent the Teamster’s union again, and let the union majority speak for themselves, publicly and loudly. Set up a protest in front of the union offices, and proclaim loudly, ‘we are proudly pro-Trump!’.
The union voted to endorse Trump...so why would he endorse Harris? And how did AOC “embarrass” him for refusing to endorse? He elected to make a non-endorsement - if he had went with the will of the Teamsters, Trump would have been endorsed.
So what is she even talking about? She should be embarrassed as her remarks make zero sense...the official non-endorsement was the best he could do for her side given who the rank and file voted for.

Take a victory where you get it. It’sa big success to pry them away from the democrats and have their president speak at our convention.
AOC endorsed Sanders for Prez in 2020.
