ARLINGTON, Va. - Early voting is underway in Virginia – the first state in the nation to allow in-person early voting in the 2024 presidential election.
Voters wishing to cast their ballots early for the Nov. 5, 2024, general election can do so from Sept. 20 to Nov. 2.
You can vote early at your local registrar’s office beginning Friday, Sept. 20 and ending the Saturday before Election Day.
Officials advise checking your registration status online or by calling before visiting your local registrar’s office to vote.

Mail in ballots were sent to North Carolina and Pennsylvania voters. Many other states will be voting before the month ends.
Yes I think it’s ridiculous. It should be two weeks before the election and a month for mail in ballots for only rare requests. What a mess!

Pretty silly, 3 month election?
This is absurd. Logically a 3 day weekend in November would cater to all within the continental U.S. and some sense of normalcy would be returned....this approach is rife for fraud and corruption. IMHO
Hard to believe that people who require 46 days to vote are allowed to vote. Real boneheads.
There are lazy on both sides.
The GOP has to aggressively push early voting. If they do not, then the lazy on only one side will be counted. And we lose.
One day voting is what we need with minimal absentee ballots just like we used to.
It’s only reasonable to think that giving folks that long to vote only raises the possibilities of voting more than once. If anyone is caught doing this (a real possibility) my thought is that they should be banned from ever voting again.
Voting by mail is how the communists will retain control.
The EARLIER you VOTE the more opportunity and LEAD TIME the "SCHEMERS" have to RE-WORK and CHANGE those VOTES from Republican to Democrat!

Not volunteering to collect ballots from elderly is more lazy. If only one side maximizes voting behavior, then we lose.

When I retired, the absentee ballot count essentially never changed the outcome.
It’s been 25 years, so what happened?
I said it befre and I’ll say it again...the US Post Office openly endorsed Joe Biden. In WHAT universe is it logical or even ethical that THEY should even be in the same room with a ballot?
You could get hit by a car or killed by an illegal alien. I’ve always voted on election day. I’ll make an exception this time
