LOL I knew y’all would go at some point while you’re there. And you always have some leftovers to nibble on later. Double the pleasure. :-)

Not a great day but not a bad day. Just a regular day. Took Jasper to the vet for a shot and that got me out of the house for a little while. Life isn’t exactly exciting in Podunk Nowhere. LOL

Hey, exciting is highly overrated! And usually gets one in trouble! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Yeah, but it can be fun at times. This weekend will be with the annual fall festival in a neighboring town. The Republican women’s group always sets up our tent and we have a ball with all the folks who stop by. I work the evening shift. Friday’s going to be rough though. The well guy will be here around 8:00 so I have to get up early. It’ll be a long day. I don’t know if I’ll be here Friday night. I’ll be dog-tired when I get home and by the time I clean up, I’ll be ready to conk out. We’ll see how it goes.

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

Yesterday at Wichita Ridge:

How's everyone doing this morning?

Well, now, that does sound exciting! But, getting up early and going strong all day sounds like a crash-and-burn when you finally slow down. You’ll be worn out from talking and laughing and having a good time with folks.

I’m sleepy tonight. I got up early and never got a nap, so I’m kind of draggy, too. I just couldn’t sleep. I’ll bet I will when I shut this thing down tonight, though.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Looks like something was getting Gizmo’s attention yesterday at Wichita Ridge. :-)

It’s a lot of fun and we all look forward to it every year.
Getting up early Friday will make it a long day but the past few years, I had to get up early both Friday AND Saturday to work at the museum. At least I get to sleep in Saturday this year, so I won’t be exhausted that night.

Ouch. No nap today had to hurt. I hope you manage to sleep better tonight on that sofa bed. It’s hard to sleep on something uncomfortable.

It sounds like a total blast. Hope the weather is good and all....no storms during the fiesta!

I guess that’s the thing I hated worst about working. Getting up early. I just don’t do it well. LOL!

The whole festival is a lot of fun. A lot of vendors show up with their arts and crafts, there’s live music, good food, and people from all around show up, even from northern AL.
No wet weather this year, thank goodness, but it’ll be a bit toasty. It’s been flooded out a couple of times and ended early.
The end of each night is a blast - - - fireworks! They spend some money on them because they’re good shows both nights.

Yeah, getting up early hurts. LOL But it’ll be worth it Friday in order to have water again! Having no water sux!!!

I wish I could see it from my house...maybe if I climbed on the roof, but I don’t think that would put me up high enough to clear the trees. I usually need to be driving without trees in front of me.

I don’t think it’s lit tonight. If it is, it’s hidden by clouds. So don’t bother climbing on your roof! LOL
You do have some tall trees so it’s no surprise you can’t see it from your house. You’ll get to see it plenty of times after Thanksgiving at least.
So will those of us who watch the LH cam, and we’re looking forward to it.

Yay! You’ll get to see more fireworks! It really does sound like a fun time. Is it in Tullahoma? If so, I wonder if it’ll be on the live cam.

I think I’m going to finish this show and go to sleep. I’m really tired. See ya either tomorrow or Saturday. Have great fun at the festival.

Yay indeed. LOL It’s always fun to see good fireworks and they do put on a good show both nights.
No, the festival is in Cowan, a tiny town at the foot of the mountain I drove up to go to the museum. Nice little town, it is.

But your question reminded me that Tullahoma usually does have a weekend street festival in Sept. so I just looked it up. It’ll be the following weekend and yes, you’ll be able to see it on the live cam. Thanks for bringing it up! I would have missed it because I hadn’t thought about it. LOL

Sleep well!
