That is a more difficult charge.

The ones they are holding him on are sufficient for now.................

My daughter used to march in that parade a few years before that happened.

no charge for attempted murder?

I am not a lawyer so take this with as many grains of salt as you wish.

It is obvious that he wanted to murder someone, planned to murder someone and made ready to murder someone, but the someone never showed up. When discovered, he left without firing a shot and drove away. Don’t know how you convict someone of attempted murder with those actions.

He’s being charged with something he can easily be convicted of.

Far more interesting and far less likely to be uncovered is how he afforded to travel to all of the places we know he’s been on his $3000/month while living in rather expensive Hawaii. And how he happened to know that Trump would be golfing on that particular course on that particular day so that he could set up his ‘spot’ on the course 12 hours earlier.

I expect that after his unexpected death, that ‘we’ll never know what his motive was.’

I am talking about the Sheriff. He appears to be honest.

Correct. They initially charge enough to hold him, and to deny bond. The prosecutor will add charges as the investigation proceeds.

Assuming he survives long enough.

"For example, if he was just sitting out in the bushes with a gun, and they have no other proof that he was targeting Trump"

According to reports, he had the muzzle sticking through the fence aiming at the course. He wasn't doing that to shoot pigeons.

"The DOJ is malicious, not stupid."

Oh, they're stupid too. Lawfare proves that. It's no secret they are overzealous when it comes to overcharging their political enemies with crimes.

If all the charges are federal charges, Biden can pardon him after the election. But if there are some state charges, he will have to wait until there is a Democrat Governor of Florida, which could be a while.

Glad she is okay.

Innocence attracts the demonic, in my opinion. Those happy, celebrating people were in the wrong place that day.

The Feds haven't had to prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt in order to get convictions of Donald Trump.

FWC recently picked up a 10 footer that was spending a lot of time near my dock. Someone must have made the call.

I give him 14-18 days behind bars in a big federal penitentiary before some “oversight” or failed cameras or “some prisoner who shouldn’t have had access to the same area” or some “medical condition” (followed by a quick cremation) happens to him.

There’s a real chance he knows too much, or too many of the wrong faceless people. They can’t take a chance on him living.

Start counting from the day he enters the biggest federal facility.

I suspect he’ll also find plenty of Trump support in prison. Won’t be so funny then.

I wonder if the presence of the GoPro means there’s a contract out on Trump and that was for proof to get paid.
