The man suspected of trying to assassinate former President Donald Trump laughed and smiled during his first court appearance on Monday morning.
Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, allegedly attempted to kill Trump with an AK-47-style rifle with a scope. He reportedly hid in bushes at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach and was about 400 yards away from Trump when Secret Service spotted the rifle and opened fire.
Cameras were not allowed inside the courthouse, but Fox News confirmed Monday that Routh repeatedly smiled and laughed during a conversation with his court-appointed lawyer before the hearing started.
Another reporter permitted into the courthouse, Brooke Chau, posted, “Routh had slicked back dirty blonde hair, a stoic look, he stared at reporters and was handcuffed wearing a navy blue jumpsuit.”
During his appearance, Routh said he makes about $3,000 a month but has no savings or assets aside from two trucks he has back in Hawaii. The suspect also said he sometimes supports his son.
The hearing before Magistrate Judge Ryon M. McCabe only lasted eight minutes.
Routh, who is reportedly a convicted felon with a lengthy criminal history, was charged with two counts: possessing a firearm while being a convicted felon, and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number, CNN correspondent Dianne Gallagher reported.
The first charge carries up to 15 years of prison time, with a possible five-year sentence for the second charge, ABC 11 notes.
Trump on Sunday responded to the attack — which marked the second attempt on his life in just nine weeks.
“There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!,” Trump said. “Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER! I will always love you for supporting me. Unity. Peace. Make America Great Again.”
Routh has a bond hearing set for September 23. The suspect will be formally arraigned at the end of the month.
He should be stripped of his US citizenship and sent to Ukraine for military training.
And get an RFID chip to make sure he doesn’t leave there!
Maybe this asshat will be enough for the normal undecided voters to realize, they can align with this clown or Orange Man

How about First Degree Attempted Murder seeing as this CIA/State Dept. asset sat for 12 hours (premeditation) with his assassination kit, waiting for President Trump to come close enough to take a shot at him.

The two federal gun charges are just placeholders until law enforcement sifts through all of the evidence. For example, if he was just sitting out in the bushes with a gun, and they have no other proof that he was targeting Trump, it would be hard to win an attempted murder charge against Trump. But, if they go through his phone and computers and it is clear that he was targeting Trump, that might establish an attempt murder case. Bottom line: These two charges are the easiest to prove and will hold him for years alone before the FBI/cops sort everything out.

Kirov was more popular than psycho Stalin and uh, Stalin wasn’t having any of that. And Kirov was friend to Stalin (acc. to Seebag Montefiore in “Court of the Red Tsar”- a phenomenal researched book with first hand witnesses and their kin with never seen memoir notes).
Also- it is quite true that Fidel Castro tipped the Bolivian military (through US cee eye ehh guy Felix Rodriguez) the whereabouts of Che’.... so they could take him out. This being long after Che’ almost...almost fired Soviet nuke missiles at the US (source: Humberto Fontova). That was that black dude who recklessly and with intent drove through a Christmas parade route in a Jeep a year or so ago and murdered several white people including children by swerving to run them over. The female judge assigned to the case acted like he was some kind of god and allowed him all kinds of latitude and leeway in attacking her during the trial. I actually felt sympathy for the prosecuting team that had to sit through that travesty listening to him run his sick stupid mouth. Yes she eventually had to sequester him in a separate courtroom by himself because he kept interrupting her and kept forcing her to have to excuse the jury so he and the judge could go at it out of earshot of the jury as the rules required. He tried to twist the rules as much as possible to exonerate himself. The judge was in way over her head and allowed this murderer to lead her around by the nose. She was a leftwing twerp and had no damned business sitting on the bench as a judge. Wouldn’t even have qualified for traffic court. But that is the state of our judicial system these days.
Florida can also go after him as well for the same charges.

He was there 12 hours, so unless Trump told someone, “I’m going there to play golf tomorrow”, which is possible, then Routh was there in hopes of Trump golfing that day. Apparently he does when he’s in the area.
