Ryan Wesley Routh, the 58-year-old alleged would-be Trump assassin, was charged with felon in possession of a firearm in federal court Monday, just hours after he was arrested in Florida.

ABC 11 reported “prosecutors levied two charges against him: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.”

The felony stems from an incident in which Routh allegedly barricaded himself and had a stand-off with police in 2002. The Greensboro News & Record noted that once the stand-off ended, Routh was arrested and “charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a weapon of mass destruction, referring to a fully automatic machine gun.

But we need MORE gun laws that criminals will somehow not obey.

As sure as the leaves drop from the trees in Fall, The Democrat Party Organized Crime Syndicate will find a shooter when they think they are losing power.

Oops, forgot conspiracy involves more than one person (which I'm sure is the case, but so far we only have the one). So maybe it could be "attempted murder"?

So the questions I have.
If this guy lived in Hawaii how did he get an AK here on the mainland?
How did this guy know when and where Trump would be.
how did he get the ceramic plates through the TSA?

How could he afford to take the time off to wait for an opportunity to shoot when the construction company he headed was not all that rich.... sooooooo many questions......

Any criminal can get any firearm they want.
Drug dealers take stolen guns in trade, they sell them to other criminals.
Find a drug dealer equals finding guns for sale, no questions or forms to fill out.
Prison is also Criminal University.

Trumps habits are well known, the media publishes every fart and nose scratch of his days.

Why do you assume ceramic plates would be prohibited by TSA?
Why assume he did not get them on the mainland?

No need for a deep conspiracy of shadowy figures lurking in parking garages when simple freedoms and a little criminal activity can be combined to provide opportunity for all sorts of crime.

Sane moral people do not commit these sort of crimes, entitle loons “On a mission” do.

From Pollutico:

José Andrés is the rare Washington celebrity whose fame has nothing to do with government or politics. But Tuesday, after the Israeli strike that killed seven World Central Kitchen humanitarian workers in Gaza, the renowned D.C. restaurateur was right in the middle of the day’s biggest news story.

“The Israeli government needs to stop this indiscriminate killing,” Andrés, who founded the food-aid charity in 2010, wrote on X. “It needs to stop restricting humanitarian aid, stop killing civilians and aid workers, and stop using food as a weapon. No more innocent lives lost. Peace starts with our shared humanity. It needs to start now.”

The bottom feeding maggot sure loves to hide behind our flag. Somebody needs to kick his boney keister. Hopefully the boys in the big house will take care of him.

No charges of attempted assassination of a former President? I wonder how many years in prison he gets?

I bet, if you asked people who live in the area, can you tell by activity in club area if Trump is there, they would say yes.

Criminals and assassins don’t wait for the waiting period or tremble in fear of background checks. But families and innocent citizens follow the rules and pay the fees.
Wonder if a gun free zone sign would have stopped the Routh or Crooks incidents./S
