Yikes! It got too hot there today! Thank goodness it was just a one-day hit. Whew! I was afraid it was going to be there a few days.

It looks like we have a warm-up coming next week with upper 80s. Not unusual but it’s unwelcome in my book. I’m ready for a stretch of upper 70s/low 80s.

I’m ready for 70s/low 80s, too. I’m so done with summer heat! Of course I have been since the first time it went past 95. LOL!

Your weather widget is wrong. The radar is lying. Not a real drop so far. It spritzed a few teeny drops a little while ago but it didn’t do much more than dampen the grass slightly. The heavier rain is passing by just a few - like maybe 10 - miles to the west. What the radar is trying to show as rain here is rain that isn’t reaching the ground.
Oh well. Screwed again.

I reckon everyone is ready for it to cool down. This has been a rough summer for a lot of us.
