Kamala Harris is highlighting a little-known aspect of her biography - the fact that she is a gun owner - to stake out ground on the issue of firearms control.
After Donald Trump claimed during their presidential debate on Tuesday that she would "confiscate everybody's gun" if elected, Harris replied that both she and running mate Tim Walz own guns.
"We’re not taking anyone’s guns away, so stop with the continuous lying about this stuff," she said. Gun control remains among the most contentious issues in American politics but has largely taken a backseat to other policy areas this election.

Wow, a powerful super rich political person picked up a 5 or 6 hundred dollar pistol somewhere along the way, for politics, or as a DA, for image building or talking points, meaningless.
She and Awaltz are liars when it comes to gun confiscation because they don’t want the uppity little peons like us to have them.
Hillary convinced a bunch of people in Georgia she was pro gun. Harris is trying the same lie.

As though owning a gun would in any way mean that she wouldn’t want to confiscate everyone else’s.
I have zero doubt the majority of our elected officials own guns, legal or illegal. Douchecanoe Mark Kelly owns an AR-15, but insists that the peasants aren’t qualified to own them. Most politicians are Fudds.
She doesn’t know which end of a gun to pick up.
These lying clowns are an insult even to Fudds.
Just ONCE a reporter could ask some meaningful follow-up questions:
“Tell us about your favorite range? How often do you go to the range? Do you spend many hours there?
Which is your favorite pistol? Do you prefer semi-automatic or fully-automatic? Do you load your own cartridges? What’s your favorite load?”
Politicians engage in a lot of prop theater while running for office or re-election.
Who can forget that photo of Mitch (The Turtle!) McConnell
onstage at an NRA meeting. Mitch was pictured onstage raising his rifle high into the air, followed by loud waves of applause from the happily self-deceived.
Hitler had a gun, so did Saddam, so does the King of England.
None of these politicians have a clue about firearms. Even Trump is clueless. He should have had Don jr. clue him in.
Kamala lies about everything. I dont believe for a second she owns a gun, why would she, she has 24/7 security detail..her whole life is a lie, just like with her being tough on gangs, oh really, so name one..she can’t, she never went after any gangs, just like she never went after clergy who raped young boys, she refused to prosecute them

I don’t. Despite what they say liberals have no problem with guns. Their problem is that you can have them too. They would also have no problem using them to murder the opposition. You can be quite certain they’re still all about confiscating your guns.
The press should ask her what kind of gun she has, and why she has one.
My basic attitude is that those questions are none of anyone’s business regarding another American citizen. But in this case, since she’s a gun-grabbing Democrat who thinks it’s her business to know those things about every gun owner, I think she should be pressed hard to give up that information.
