Although pundits declared Vice President Kamala Harris the clear winner of Tuesday night’s debate, former President Trump won six of ten undecided voters in a Reuters focus group. Harris only won three. A New York Times survey of undecideds had similar results.
Some political pundits predicted the debate would have little effect on the election. According to a Reuters sampling, however, six out of ten undecided voters said they were leaning towards Trump due to Harris’s “vague” answers and because they “trusted” Trump more on the economy, the top issue of the 2024 cycle.
Reuters reported:
Reuters interviewed 10 people who were still unsure how they were going to vote in the Nov. 5 election before they watched the debate. Six said afterward they would now either vote for Trump or were leaning toward backing him. Three said they would now back Harris and one was still unsure how he would vote.
…
Five said they found Harris vague during the more than 90-minute debate on how she would improve the U.S. economy and deal with the high cost of living, a top concern for voters.
…
Four of those six also said Harris did not convince them she would pursue different economic policies than Democratic President Joe Biden, a Democrat they largely blame for the high cost of living.

A sample of 10. Drawing wishful conclusions from 10 whopping people is lunacy. If they had 6 of the 10 favoring Kamulatto, we’d be apoplectic — and, rightfully, completely dismissive.
“Five said they found Harris vague”
What’s the matter with those people? How can they possibly think “joy” and “forward” are vague positions?
“A New York Times survey of undecideds had similar results. “
Did anyone see an article on this??
Is there anyone who is actually “undecided” at this point?
Even with the ‘assistants’ from ABC who pretended to be ‘moderators’, Kamala could not undo the fact that she had no facts in her arguments. All her ‘facts’ were lies and when she wasn’t lying, she was deflecting and moving on to some completely different issue, and even the new issue, she was lying there too.
She also claimed to be the New choice. Guess the last 4 years don’t count.
Frank Luntz’s focus groups in 2016 turned out to be the most accurate election barometer of all. There couldn’t have been more than 15-18 people in any of those.
I thought the debate was a draw but let’s as they say drill down on that a bit.
Some people are actually smart enough to realize they are selecting a President and not a debate club.
Sure there were stupid questions that Trump shouldn’t have bothered to go into details on. And she showed that she could give a long scripted answer to most questions.
However, when you think about the fact you are picking someone to run the economy and someone to handle world peace in war.
How many people believe Kamala Harris can handle Putin and other adversaries when Ukraine was invaded 3 days after she went over there. By the way I follow that issue and have forgotten that specific detail.
How many people really want a war in Europe with Russia to go on forever and ever.
And who can believe that she would secure the border when everyone knows the democrats want it wide open.
On inflation everyone knows he didn’t have it and it went crazy under Biden and Harris.
So if we give people credit for having any intelligence how could he have lost the debate on those important issues.
And finally she was trying to get him angry to make him yell or to start interrupting her and he didn’t fall forward for it once he showed that he could sit there and barely make any facial gestures toward her and let her speak until it was his time to answer.
Wasn’t that last one supposed to be his biggest mistake at prior debates?
So I have no problem believing that he won the debate on substance and leadership.
Shocking New Survey Exposes Reality That Only 23% Of Independents Think The Economy Is On The Right Track. Millions of Americans will be basing their votes on how they currently feel about the economy and whothey trust to handle it moving forward...and this hopefully could be Trump.
Maybe eventually the light goes on when you spend more and more money and each time get less to show for perhaps some people are bright enough to put two and two together. Aside from that, no country ever spent and taxed itself into prosperity.

I think so and I think this poll makes sense for whatever its worth. Folks know what they are getting with Trump. He has a record of accomplishment Harris simply doesn’t have but he is not for everyone. What I think undecideds wanted to hear from Harris is a reconciliation of how she is going to fix things her current admin has broken and maybe an admission of error or two....but all they got was deflection and lies...all of which were obvious. Blaming Trump at this point simply doesn’t sway people. People are still going through the trauma of the current pedo President...and really are thinking how could Trump be any worse, especially if they’re honest about how much better their lives were at the end of 2019.
Spamala!!!
Yes. You have to keep in mind not everyone is super-interested in politics as are the respective bases or who are devoted to a party/candidate. There’s even a percentage who haven’t decided until right up to the time they get into the polling booth.
It’s amazing that she can run as an outsider isn’t it?
Bkmk
Lose the battle win the war.
VAGUE is the plan until Obama says otherwise.
thanks
