resident Trump came out the clear winner in the presidential debate, presenting the case for his re-election, laying out the Harris-Biden failures, and confidently going on Fox News to comment on his performance afterwards, as the Kamala Harris camp threw out the possibility of a second debate, in October. Candidates who are losing are the ones who like do-overs.
The moderators -- ABC's David Muir, and Linsey whatshername stunk, with unusual bias seen in both, fact-checking Trump while giving Kamala a pass on obvious and tired whoppers, pushing the abortion-as-health-care narrative, they were vile, and shouldn't be allowed to ever moderate again.
Sure, there were a few things Trump could have done better -- I would have liked more discussion on inflation and its impact on groceries, gas stations, rent, mortgages, car insurance, health care, 401(k)s, credit card debt, college, vacation spending, car parts, and the like, which are all the direct byproduct of four years of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's money spending on green garbage projects, crony handouts, warbucks, and handing welfare cash out to illegals and fraudsters.
I would have liked a stronger defense of free markets and build-your-own health insurance. I was very leery of his tariff talk, which does drive up the prices of goods, though if it is carefully done may be minimally harmful -- why so much time on it, and who's talking about tariffs when the 401(k)s are shriveling? I wish he would have spent more time with Elon Musk who understands these things in debate preparation.
I also would have liked to have seen him put Kamala on the spot on Israel, vowing to crush Hamas and asking her what the heck she would do with them if all she wants is a ceasefire after their ISIS-style act,

I did not watch the debate because I knew it was rigged and would have enraged me. So, I avoided that emotional upset. It’s okay to read summaries and analysese afterwards. Trump had to have know what was going to happen. It shows courage on his part to take on such a wicked entity face to face. Almost no one would do that. THAT should be the main point made. A boy with a spear/knife takes on a bear (three on one) and wounds it badly and survives to fight another day. What bravery. What courage.
I suppose that the so-called “debate” had to occur but let’s not do it again.
It was a waste of time and did not profit Trump at all.
I knew when ABC put out that metrosexual David Muir (rhymes with manure) that the debate would be stacked against Trump. The same network that immediately hired the democrat hack Clinton stooge George Stephanopoulos, when he became available for World News Tonight.
How many of the broadcast network (ABC, NBC, CBS) employees come from Republican administrations? You may have a few guest analyst at Fox News, but that’s it. You never see Republican anchors on those networks.
The bias coverage has been going on for decades and every year it becomes more and more blatant. They really do need to lose their broadcast license for the in-kind contributions they make to the Rat party.
I would say he held his own against three people with loaded gloves and a biased ref
Muir is not ‘metrosexual’. He’s a full-blown homosexual.
I watched after the bball game. Trump did lousy. he repeated himself about the great job he did about 4 or 5 times. whoever prepped him did a terrible job. From Trump’s point of view, a debate in this setting should be framed as a conversation with the viewers. Being attacked and looking like you are attacked instead of talking with the tv cameras and not the moderators or kamala in mind would have been a winner. He takes the bait when attacked. It wears on me.
You did what you thought was best. Don’t get upset, keep your
goals and do the best you can to support them. jmo.
You try fending off 3 people, jacksss.
Trump kicked her ass in the debate. It wasn’t even close.
Trump was debating three people simultaneously.
Trump was debating three people simultaneously.
I’d blame Tulsi. She’s direct. Kamala was indirect. Not a very good stand-in.
I wish Ben Carson was up there instead of Trump. Sorry.
And everyone saw that bias.
He did well despite it.
She only sounded like a prosecutor with a completely expected result last night.
A pile on.
She did not come off as presidential.
Trump IS presidential.
Bkmk
You know, I was self-curious as to why I had no desire to see the debate.
You have identified why, for me.
I hung out on Twitter and was selective in the clips I watched. I let others do the play by play. I’m not young and I have a heart condition, so had to manage my blood pressure.
