Ukraine started this year {2024} on the brink of disaster. A lot has changed since.

After entering 2024 in a sorry state, Ukraine has notched up a series of notable achievements since the start of the year, giving fresh impetus to its fight back against Russia.

... Western allies have let it use some of the missile systems they've supplied to hit targets inside Russia, with notable caveats, giving it a better chance to defend itself against incoming Russian attacks.

And it also regained the initiative with its surprise incursion into the Russian region of Kursk in August, even while gradually losing ground in eastern Ukraine.

"What Ukraine has done in the past month, starting with Kursk, is not going to turn around the war by any means," Abishur Prakash, the founder of The Geopolitical Business, Inc., a strategy advisory firm in Toronto, told BI.

"But it's definitely changed the war," he added.

...Russia, meanwhile, has struggled to respond quickly and effectively, partly due to its complex military structures, a lack of contingency plans, and poor command and control.

...Putin still believes Russia can slowly and indefinitely take over Ukraine through grinding advances and accomplish its objectives by fighting a war of attrition and outlasting Western support, it said. Ukraine's emphasis on regaining territory and reluctance to mobilize more soldiers may have complicated its defenses.

I had wondered when I clicked on one of your infamous memes that opened this storage file of your memes: bringing the image with this headline: “imgbox Ukraine 340 of 341 on top” [far right]. I clinked on ‘Ukraine’ memes then appeared!<<<<

You wondered what? I NEVER broke into your account.
I repeatedly have explained what happened. Perhaps, I re-posted a meme of yours.. probably the one of a stodgy Karen-woman marcheing hall monitor. I remember that meme because I assumed it was of yourself & thought it funny that you were trying to justify your behavior.

Anyhow, you will never change your position. Actually, know amount of factual verification, even the witness of other freepers, explaining your internet image file exposure to me.

My attempt to help you didn’t fail.
Yet, your unrelenting dishonest interpretation continues.
Apparently, my action reflects the axiom: “No good deed goes unpunished.”

Wrong again: The term truly is Russian mofia

SUMMATION
“The prevailing structure of Russian organized crime in the United States is characterized by people who knew each other in the former Soviet Union, or who knew people in common, and who collaborate for a specific criminal event. Although their backgrounds vary, they are most likely professional and entrepreneurial criminals.

Russian criminals in the United States associate mainly with each other, although their loyalty does not seem to be based on shared ethnicity or culture. The flexible structure of U.S.-based Russian organized crime can be attributed to a number of forces. Of primary importance, this structure is a continuation of the patterns and practices that were so common in the former Soviet Union.

Second, this loose, flexible structure is well suited to the types of crime in which these criminals are involved. Crimes
such as fraud and confidence schemes and certain violent crimes are particularly suited to this type of structure because they require teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to imitate the operation of a legitimate actor or organization. But because Russian crime and the nature of
Russian criminal organizations in this country are evolving, this picture also could change.
