I think anyone who is interested in what is happening in Ukraine can do at least two things at once.
Few threads stay solely on one topic for long.
[Russia’s banks have practically emptied their stash of yuan]
Yuan is the loneliest number.
I don’t know int’l finance but the “basket of currencies” concept always seems iffy to me, and perhaps vulnerable to squabbles & runs.
I just heard on the John Batchelor Show about how the Rooskis are getting around this.
They get gold from India in exchange for oil. They send the gold to Hong Kong, and the HKers buy Chinese goods for the Russians and ship it, often directly from China.
:)
The story may also have something to do with Chinaβs economic woes. If Chinese firms are facing liquidity crisis they will want their cash.
They can print Yuan at will, just like we print dollars as if there are zero consequences for doing so. So, why would they need Yuan from Russia, and how would that help China’s faltering economy?
China has also run out of Yuan.
Are their printing presses out of commission also? We ran out of dollars decades ago.
More Ruzzia Spam. Nothing new.
The EU is buying more natural gas from Russians than the US. In effect paying Russia to war on Ukraine while we give 100s of billions. Seems like a screwed up process to me.
China can print Yuan. Chinese firms canβt.
China will regret this move. Especially if Trump is elected, because their allies with American traitors will no longer be assisting them if Trump wins. Prepare for war, because it is coming if Trump is elected, but it wont be started by Trump. China will not have the energy to sustain a war though , because Iran is a minor energy resource. Trump will make Putin an ally. That's why I say China is making the ignorant geopolitical move here. They are doing this in an attempt to assist the American traitors to help defeat Russia, or at least keep Russia at bay, in order to assist the American traitors to remain in power.
Currency from every country is turning to chit. Fiat money has become a problem as it's being exposed due to the U.S. making their dollars worthless. No country's money is backed by precious metals or gems They are all just useless paper.
Then go to threads about that.
The topic here is Putin’s creation of the economic disaster that is consuming Muscowy
you can check it on the internet.
What time is it for you in Moscow?
