Vice President Kamala Harris has changed her mind about banning plastic straws in her latest move to appeal to voters as a centrist.
When Harris ran for president in the 2020 election, she said during a CNN town hall that the government should ban plastic straws.

If her values have not changed, how have her positions on all these issues changes?

Plastic straws. ROTFL! That’s definitely a priority issue to the Jamaican princess. Can’t drink a Planter’s Punch without a plastic straw.
All her flip-flops are temporary, in order to get a many voters from all sides for the election.
After the election, if she were to win, all of her original positions on all the issues would return. Her explanation would be that, she tried and had to rethink her changed positions, and could not with a clear conscience, do what she had promised as changes before the election. It will be a back to the future moment immediately after she is elected (God forbid).
And she’s changing her theme to Make America Great Again.

I am amazed that that issue is a concern of the President of the United States. But since the office now involves that kind of micromanagement, I have a question I would like to ask her. Should I buy plastic bags designed for picking up after my dog, or should I repurpose plastic grocery bags? Using the grocery bags means getting multiple uses from them and saving resources needed to make dog poop bags, but they might take up more space in the landfill. I am conflicted.
