Judge Tanya Chutkan acknowledged Thursday that appeals are certain no matter how she rules on pending immunity issues in former President Donald Trump’s Jan. 6 case.
During the first hearing since the federal case was paused in December, attorneys argued about the timeline for handling a range of issues that must be resolved before moving forward...
Trump’s attorney John Lauro emphasized there is no need to rush to judgement, but Chutkan responded that everybody knows her ruling will be appealed.
“We’re hardly sprinting to a finish line here,” Chutkan said, noting it’s difficult to even contemplate a trial date with “looming appellate issues.”...“I’m risking reversal no matter what I do,”...

SCOTUS said the president has lots of immunity, which is a qualified reversal of Chutkan.
She is prone to being reversed because she’s biased against PDJT and doesn’t know the law as she should. Therefore, she’s always in danger of being reversed!
Trump has absolute immunity to anything related to election integrity. That’s his direct responsibility and certainly the outer limits. This case is a joke and it’s only purpose is to generate negative headlines. The country is circling the drain and 50% can’t see it because they are blinded by hate.
Not if she follows the law. But, she knows she is not going to follow it because she wants to interfere with the election and do her part to see Trump lose. If it gets over turned on appeal, so what? She’s done her part to save Democracy.
We need to call for her resignation and disbarrment.
More like thumbing her nose at them. I’d be pretty annoyed, if I were them.
