4:19 In a high-profile speech set for Thursday at the Economic Club of New York, Donald Trump will lay out a comprehensive economic vision under the banner of “Make America Affordable Again,” aimed at restoring affordability and driving down the high cost of living that many Americans have faced under the Biden-Harris administration.
Trump’s plan focuses on cutting government waste, scaling back regulatory overreach, and unleashing domestic energy production—all pillars he sees as essential to revitalizing the economy.
A centerpiece of Trump’s agenda is the creation of a government efficiency commission, an idea suggested by tech entrepreneur Elon Musk, which would conduct a full audit of the federal government to identify waste, fraud, and inefficiencies. Trump’s goal, according to people familiar with the speech, is to streamline government operations and curb inflation by reducing unnecessary spending. The proposal has already garnered attention, with Musk publicly backing it as a way to rein in bloated bureaucracy.

Here’s the best link of today’s Economic Club of New York speech I’ve found. Enjoy🥰

You would think everyone but sadly it’s not. I still run into people that think gas should be over $10/gal. They want meat priced to in affordable levels. The same with airfare. All based on slowing global warming.
BS audio on the link. Thanks MSNBC for trying to frag Trump. Petty.
He ought to focus like a laser on ENERGY PRODUCTION
Not just oil and gas, but also nuclear. All economic activity derives from energy.
Logic dictates, the cheaper and more plentiful energy we have, the more economic activity we will have.
I watched part of it. President Trump was great. He was specific, comprehensive, and engaging. If he does what he did today during the debate, he’ll bury Harris.
government efficiency .....
wouldn’t that be an oxymoron ???
During the Q&A at the end he calmly and competently answered questions posed by financial wizards that no doubt would’ve left Kamala fumbling, mumbling and cackling even more than usual.
Gee, at least the link I shared had complete more-than-acceptable audio quality.
CSPAN joined in progress with no audio as did Newsmax.
Both cut away as RPOTUS was answering the final question.
This was the ONLY good link/video I could track down and I wanted to make it available to my FRiends.
If you happen to find a better one, please post it.
Most of the Federal apparatus in the suburbs of DC, whose livelihood depends on Federal spending.
Policy Trump is the most lethal Trump.
notice how he takes questions at the end....doesn’t duck out...doesn’t say, “I was told to call on this person.”
Indeed he did a great job of it his first time then the democrat party cheated him out of the election to make things last.
Trump wasn’t the only one who got cheated we did too.
He would have to pull an Andrew Jackson and Abolish the Den of Vipers.
Remember how the libs would paint seniors having to eat cat food or pay for their medications?
Well thanks to their policies that’s now looking more and more likely.
Went grocery shopping today - unbelievable prices.
“Make America Affordable Again” is a much better slogan than Kamala’s “Opportunity Economy.” People have to speculate about what “Opportunity Economy” means in concrete terms, but everyone would immediately know that “Make American Affordable Again” means lower costs. I hope Trump uses this as a slogan often, including in the debate.
It’s like “military intelligence.”
