A teenager accused of killing four people at Apalachee High School in Barrow County was previously investigated for threats about a shooting, the FBI Atlanta office said late Wednesday.
Colt Gray, 14, was charged with murder after Wednesday’s shooting, according to investigators. He was not charged after an investigation last year.
In May 2023, the FBI’s National Threat Operations Center received several anonymous tips about online threats to commit a school shooting, the FBI said in a statement. The threats didn’t identify a school or when it would happen, but they contained pictures of guns.
Investigators tracked the post to Georgia and to Jackson County, where sheriff’s deputies continued the investigation. A 13-year-old, Colt Gray, was interviewed along with his father, an FBI spokesman said.

But that’s ok, F-Troop will swing into gear deleting his social media history, finding some way to prosecute his parents for not having the gun inside a bank vault type safe, and they will go after the FFL Dealer who sold the gun to the dad 15 years ago before the little prick was born.
I want to say it’s unbelievable that they did nothing a year ago after interviewing this little psycho, but it’s sadly very believable. I hope the FBI is completely dismantled and reorganized as a competent police agency. The entire leadership must be retired.

Apparently they neglected to bring the school resource officer into the plan with the result that the shooter was apprehended and not killed. ;-)
Of course Biden trots out the old gun control will end this carnage BS. Truth is if the FBI were on the ball the shooter would have been stopped. If anything there needs to be a means to investigate and get these nuts off the street.
