Canada’s New Democratic party says it has “ripped up” a key agreement with prime minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government, sowing uncertainty into the country’s politics as party leaders brace for a possible election.

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh made the surprise announcement on social media on Wednesday afternoon, accusing Trudeau of “caving” to corporate greed. “The Liberals have let people down. They don’t deserve another chance from Canadians,” he said.

So, Mr. Singh decides to do the correct thing, even if far too little, far too late, and only because he's been under relentless pressure from Monseiur Poilievre.

Still, hopefully this is the first domino to fall in Princess Justine's régime...

Justin is likely in that far more trouble with the electorate now than Harper was about some ten years ago.

The Conservatives were beating up the NDP and the NDP has to defend a seat in Manitoba in a by-election.

NDP will pull plug on Liberals when they sense an opportunity to gain seats in an election (or not lose as many). Liberals cannot continue to govern alone as they hold less than 50% of seats in parliament.

A national rail strike is issue where Liberals have a more pro-business approach (forcing arbitration) and NDP are 100% pro-labor. It’s time to rumble and get a new set of clowns for the circus.

BC will go to an election on Oct 19 so it seems best timing for federal election might be early to mid-November. I don’t think it can be before Oct 19 now and there is traditionally no tight overlap of a large province’s election with a federal campaign. Winter elections are not a great idea here so if not Nov then April? First step is gov’t loses a vote of non-confidence, and resigns. Election date is set in consultation with Governor General (in reality, gov’t tells GG when to say election day will be).

It’s awesome news. The CPC is projected to win the election.

Trudeau belongs in prison for the rest of his days.

He as screwed with his citizens to the point he qualifies
as public enemy number one.

These smug asshats need to be placed with other leaders from
around the planet including those of the WEF. And shutter
that place.
