Red flag? Voter turnout in Tennessee primary at just 13.9% of registered voters, a recent lowpoint

Tennessee saw just 13.9% of registered voters cast ballots in the Aug. 1 primary, down from 24.5% in the 2020 primary and 14.1% in 2016.

The turnout is the lowest since before at least 1996, with the state averaging 17.9% turnout for the August primaries in a presidential election year, according to ThinkTennessee.

The primary included one U.S. Senate seat, all nine Tennessee U.S. House seats along with 99 state House seats and 16 state Senate seats, those in the even-numbered districts.

The Nov. 5 ballot, however, will include candidates from both the Republican and Democratic parties facing off for 62.6% of Tennessee Legislature seats compared to just 37.9% being competitive races in 2022, ThinkTennessee wrote.

Question?

Are people really not voting or are we being told they aren't voting.

Could election officials be just tossing the votes of a lot of the electorate to prevent an overwhelming vote for conservatives?

Since the election of 2020, I put nothing pass them.

People vote if they believe the race is worth voting for. In a primary, maybe voters just didn’t care about their options. Sounds like most were content with the incumbents.

Since Trump has already been voted in by the Republicans and Commie-la was given a participation trophy for trying to pull the sword from the stone, what's left to vote for?

Were the presidential and other primaries split in the comparison years? How many of the 250 listed votes (senator, 9 house, 99 state house, 16 state senate from each party) were competitive? Any difference in participation rates between the parties? If only we had people whose profession was to find information like that and distribute it instead of just being typesetter for DNC talking points.

Marsha Blackburn is not Bob Corker. He was the pits. she’s got it in the bag.

No, they aren’t lying about turnout or tossing votes. Turnout was simply low, for whatever reasons.
November should be a whole new ballgame though.

>>>I pray you’re right, radu!!!

We must retain the House to renew Trump’s tax cuts and flip the Senate to save SCOTUS.

Also, I hope President Trump’s extremely light schedule is a sign that his internal polls are showing him comfortably ahead.

He only has a Hannity Town Hall on Wednesday in PA, with nothing else before addressing the FOP in NC Friday night.

Really it’s not that bad compared to 2016 the last normal primary. 2020 was unusual because nobody had anything to do but vote. We’re going to see a huge drop in voting in 2024. No way do 159 million vote in 2024 like they did in 2020.

“People” were put on the voting rolls in 2020 and 2022 to take control of the Presidency, the House, the Senate, and State and local government. They are only electrons in a databases somewhere.

For 2024, it appears that the DNC is not yet tipping which precincts will have the 9 million illegals of voting age. I estimate each of the 9 million will have to vote 3 times, plus another 8 million fraud votes, for Kamala to win in November, for a total of 35 million fraud votes needed. In 2020, there were 22 million fraud votes for Biden (or more. This estimate assumes that 2016 was 100% legit, which it wasn’t). Kamala will get sever fewer than the 59 million Biden legitimately received in 2020.

No, it’s really that bad. Only 17% taking the time to learn the candidates and cast an informed vote is PATHETIC and SHAMEFUL.

Informed voting is the BARE MINIMUM an American can do to “keep our republic”. IF we can. And way too many Americans are too lazy and apathetic to do even that much!

I’m not calling out Tennessee, either — it’s an ALL-AMERICAN problem. EIGHT percent voted in our last school board election. Eight percent! Less than one in 10. Shameful!

Why bother to make a well-informed decision when your vote is going to get fraud-cancelled?

The bigger problem is that good people don’t want to run, so the choice is a turd sandwich or a giant douche.

Non-competitive races and no Presidential candidates on the ballots. Simple explanation.

Were there any competitive races across the state? If not fully believable turnout for an August primary. Why do states even hold primaries after June. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

“Were there any competitive races across the state?”

Not really. I voted, because it’s the right thing to do, but the races were pretty ho-hum. Frickin’ traitor Blackburn is up for re-election this year. I didn’t cast any vote in that race. Bitch.

Yes of course. But they were emphasizing 2020 which was highly unusual. Yes, more should vote.

People are completely fed up with their “representatives” at every level.

Elect someone to their county commission, promise to look out for the people and then allow absolute, out of control development. Property taxes sky rocketing. Etc etc etc.

They look at how Nashville has become an liberal, hipster disaster with Chattanooga trying to catch up.

Every southern state is going through the same thing.

low turnout elections have traditionally favored conservatives / Republicans. Let’s hope turnout is way down from 2020.

Conservatives will vote no matter what.

I’m kinda glad Trump has a light schedule this week. Gives the enemedia little to talk about other than Kalamity, and she’s hanging herself right now. This weekend was a BAD one for her.

We need retain and widen the gap in the House and, yes, flip the Senate. I pray the voters get out and do their job to make that happen as well as make it too big to rig the POTUS election. Everyone knows they intend to do that again.

In other words there’s still 86.1 % of the ballots available for AME church volunteer ballot stuffers to fill out.
Easy peasy.

>> Why bother to make a well-informed decision when your vote is going to get fraud-cancelled?

That’s a good question (and a common question), and here is the answer:

When only 60% (at best!) of the population votes — and only ~33% of Christians vote — if EVERY conservative and Christian voted, the number of SANE COMMON SENSE votes would put EVERY election out of the reach of the evil marxist cheaters.

They can only cheat so much. Vote in numbers they cannot reverse by their cheating! Stop being demoralized! Your vote DOES count. Please cast it. Defeat the progressive left with the TRUTH and LIGHT of informed common-sense voters!

Thanks, Blessings, and FRegards
