You go 1st in your offices and homes.
I bet the Slimes turned theirs off last spring. Yeah, right. Sarc/
The New York Times needs to turn off all electricity to all of their facilities—forever.
We have a planet to save!
You know what would be fitting? For someone to cut the power to their AC units at the Times HQ. And let’s see if they have someone come out and FIX it.
You have to be mighty rich to set your thermostat on 69 when it’s 110 outside in Texas.
Multinational corporations are able to build and operate factories in Third World swamps because of AC. Now the elites want us tomi stop using AC? The irony is thicker than the humidity at the Equator.
These nut cases are dumber than dirt.
Here's the hippie.
“You go 1st in your offices and homes.”
That should always be the response to their stupid proposals.
I learned that air conditioning makes us much more productive, even having it in work trucks in between service calls makes for a more productive worker.
I think it’s okay for him. He isn’t hurting anyone. My grandmother in Missouri didn’t turn the a/c on, and if guests did, she would come along later and turn it off.
The Slimes probably buys carbon credits and that would be why they could enjoy air conditioning and you don’t.
I’m pretty comfortable up to 85. 90 and above though, it starts interacting with one of my meds by raising my body temperature and things get ugly. I’m also on a drug that can inhibit sweating, so heat stroke is a real possibility.
So, no. I’ll keep my AC. After surviving kidney failure in my teens and twenties, I’d prefer to keep on living, thanks.
Modern homes are also not designed to promote air flow. We can at least open windows on either side of our house for a cross-breeze, and open the upstairs window and shove a fan in there to vent the air from inside, pulling air through with all of the main floor windows open.
Sick. But in this Texas city the AC blasts everywhere. It’s sick
I bring a sweater and a jacket to any restaurant, church or movie. And I use them
Texas is completely in impressed w energy issues until this changes.
What an ass-hat statement, to get rid of AC.
Well
First every office building will need to be tore down and rebuilt or heavily modified.
Houses will wed tone tore down or heavily modified.
Modern buildings weee designed to have AC.
Houses are built to have AC.
Growing up in a house built in the early 1900’s, we never had AC,
But, every bedroom had 2 windows not on the same wall. 12 foot ceilings to stay cool along with high pitch roofs.
Modern office buildings have no windows.
All computer centers would shut down.
Foods and meds would spoil.
So on and so on.
Just say what the left wants. 70% global population reduction.
“New York Times runs an op-ed calling on the public to go without air conditioning”
I live in Texas, so while I’ll be a bit uncomfortable in the summer without air conditioning, it sure beats have to deal with the EMBARRASSING gaffs and hatred spewed by Trump. So, I guess I’ll be buying some lighter clothing.

(see tag line)
EVs have to have air conditioning for their battery or they’ll burst into flames ,wait is the air conditioning on when it charges
Bkmk
If you are going to hell anyways, you just as well get used to the heat.
