Likely something to do with the sudden descent into a state of persistent famine and misery India experienced during the 2nd half of the 20th century when it was aligned itself with communism.
Some stats I have seen say Indian/south Asians are the wealthiest per-capital ethnic group in the USA.

Maybe because Indian-Americans judge not by the color of the skin but by the content of the character. It is also why they didn’t rush to Nikki Haley, and didn’t embrace Vivek Ramaswamy, because they were looking for the best candidate, who is Donald Neverahindu Trump.
The only bloc in favor of Trump is the Vietnamese Community, my guess is probably due to their experience with communism from the Vietnam War.

That is (still) true but if you look at the 2020 stats, more Asians, including more Indians, voted Republican than ever before. The trend is away from Democrats.
Because Indian Americans understand business better than Americans.
