Per E. Howard Hunt's audio taped deathbed confession to his son and other accounts, the key planner of the Kennedy assassination was CIA officer Cord Meyer, with another CIA officer, David Atlee Phillips, as the primary executor. Along with Mafia involvement, CIA officer George Joanides was the CIA's paymaster and shot caller for Cuban exile groups who had key roles. Hunt also identified LBJ and Hoover as essential to the killing of Kennedy.

In addition to motives particular to those figures, there was apparently a general belief in US national security circles that JFK's personal and official misconduct and policy differences made him a grave threat to the country. The apparent murder of Marilyn Monroe to protect JFK is said to have provided a crucial impetus in that it transgressed a boundary that might otherwise have inhibited the plotters from killing Kennedy.

In addition to everything else, the near seamless beginning of the coverup immediately after the assassination makes a larger conspiracy near undeniable. The hijacking of JFK's body from Dallas for a secret examination at Walter Reed before the official autopsy at adjacent Bethesda is deeply suspicious.

A recent examination of the autopsy photos by a credentialed radiologist supposedly now proves that there were head shots from the front. And a new memoir by a Secret Service agent identifies the "magic bullet" as coming from the back of the limo as an undercharged round fired from the rear that hit Kennedy in the back. That alone explodes the Warren Commission's conclusions that Oswald acted alone.

I want to say that I believe to this day that Oswald was the lone gunman because of Occam's razor.   But Oswald's background gave much opportunity to wind him up and set him loose, then cover up after the fact.

A covert team identifies a loose cannon with a probability of occurrence, the team has "plausibly deniable" because they did nothing actionable.

The solution has to include arrest and long imprisonments (20 year min.) because firing them will only allow them to regroup and seek revenge. These rogue traitors are true deep state operatives.
