The NATO-Ukraine Council met on Wednesday (28 August 2024) following recent heavy Russian airstrikes against Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure. Allies strongly condemned Russia’s indiscriminate strikes and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen Ukraine’s defences.

Have you talked to the Ukrainian people, even a few, to see how they feel about "Z" and how he's acting to keep his country from being overrun by the Russians? If you haven't taken a sense of the people there, you have no right to judge "Z" or Ukraine.

This is from memory so I apologize if I miss something.

RFK claimed that the US and others, starting in the Obama administration, wanted to provoke a war with Russia. He claimed that they intentionally provoked Russia into invasion by overthrowing an elected leader, making aggressive military moves in neighboring countries, and other actions until Russia was sufficiently threatened into acting. He also claimed that the US forced Ukraine into repeatedly rejecting peace agreements that could have prevented or ended the war. The goal was to bleed Russia dry of the ability to fight any other war. Human life didn’t matter. He also named names of those involved.

Interestingly, none of these affirmations rise to an actual declaration of war against Russia, by allying -- as we did in WWII -- against a declared enemy.

"Let's you and him fight" while NATO holds the proverbial coat isn't working as the reaffirmations pretend to do. Stoltenberg, as once leader of Norway, should lobby NATO to declare war and enter the land war with -- how about -- his Norwegians. But he won't.

Stoltenberg and his ilk want to remain only partially "pregnant."
