Israel launched a large-scale military operation in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, where its forces killed at least nine Palestinians and sealed off the volatile city of Jenin, according to Palestinian officials.
Israel has carried out near-daily raids across the West Bank since Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack out of Gaza triggered the ongoing war there.
Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani, an Israeli military spokesman, said that “large forces” had entered the volatile city of Jenin, which has long been a terrorist stronghold, as well as Tulkarem and the Al-Faraa refugee camp dating back to the 1948 Mideast war, all in the northern West Bank.
He said the nine dead were all terrorists, including three killed in an airstrike in Tulkarem and another four in an airstrike in Al-Faraa.

The IDF has turned the Hamas fortresses into dirt, literal brown dirt. Acres and acres and acres of what were once buildings and streets and government offices and hospital/fortresses, head quarters are just gone. They are now just dirt.
Unlike the endless other instances where hostages were taken and war or war like activities by the Palestinians occurred and were forgiven and the status quo returned, that is over. Very soon, when Hamas is squeezed to oblivion and Sinwar is dead, the Trump created Abraham Accords and Negev Summit efforts will kick in. Those accord nations will together occupy what amounts to an all new protectorate that over time can evolve into a sovereign state.
The Fakestinian Arab terrorist Occupation of Judea and Samaria must be brought to a swift end.
