West made the stunning accusation after the close of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, in an interview with independent journalist Jordan Chariton on the Status Coup News podcast.
The two discussed offers to drop out in anticipation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s anticipated decision to suspend his campaign (in battleground states) and to endorse former President Donald Trump.

Chariton: Let’s let’s just say they did not offer you the janitor’s position they offered you something relatively high up.
West: [Laughing] Well, I don’t think it was that high up …
All kinds of shenanigans go on in politics.
I always thought Cornhell Wurst was hot Polish sausage.
The party that’s the protector of Democracy.
Cornel West: Kamala Harris Offered Me a Job, Debt Payoff If I Dropped Out
Debt? not worried about paying that?
What else you got?
Isn’t that illegal? As I kept hearing from the oline legals that if Trump directly offered a job to RFK Jr for his endorsement that would have been illegal
We could use a Nut Czar.
It worked for Bernie...
...more than once.
Cornel: They offered me a job, tending miss Wilkie’s garden, hoeing and raking the leaves. They said I could live in the shack at the end of the garden and offered 25 dollars.
quid pro quo?
So that’s how their idea of democracy works.
“Dr.?” Doctor of what?
Secretary of Dumbasssery
I believe the “paying off debt” part is definitely illegal. Cash money to drop out of a political race seems like a
pretty open and shut case of bribery to me.
What the heck? Make him Secretary of State. I mean this sincerely, he’d be better than what we’ve got.
I think he is Sociologist or Anthropologist
We should send him money-bang for the buck.
Indeed.
They’re still doing that? Bernie Sanders was a big recipient of those same offers, and he took them. It’s funny though, that a woman who claims she’s black but really isn’t, is trying to bribe a black man off the ballot.
