Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Monday that former President Trump asked him to serve on his transition team, if the GOP presidential nominee wins another term in office.
“I’ve been asked to go on to the transition team, you know, to help pick the people who will be running the government, and I’m looking forward to that,” Kennedy said in a lengthy interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Kennedy ended his independent presidential bid Friday and threw his support behind Trump. He said his name would remain on the ballot in most red and blue states but withdrew from the battleground states where he could make a difference.
He joined Trump at his rally over the weekend in Arizona, where the GOP nominee welcomed him into the fold.
“Tonight, I’m very pleased to welcome a man who has been an incredible champion for so many of these values that we all share, and we’ve shared them for a long time,” Trump said at the time in his introduction of Kennedy. “I think he’s going to have a huge influence on this campaign.”

Excellent idea, after the disloyalty of his first administration.
we need people who can run the government with 50% of the workforce. Meaning, we need to cut government in half..
And this is a crime? No other people involved is an Oligarchy.
Not sure cozying up to RFK jr. is a great idea. I think RFK jr. has a screw loose.
With Kennedy on board he won’t be able to eliminate the EPA.
Considering this, I am 100% on board:
His plan to end forever wars, as good as I’ve ever heard.
His environmental stance, best I ever heard.
His Make America Healthy Again plan, best I’ve ever heard.
His ideas to defang the police state, best I’ve ever heard.
His plans to end censorship, best I’ve ever heard.
His ability to present these ideas, best I’ve ever seen.
I just heard his positions for the first time last night.
And he’s been living these positions for FORTY years!
GD censorship!
Trump has discussed a role for Elon Musk in govt efficiency
In 2017 the RNC (Riense Priebus, Karl Rove. VP Pence etc.), McCain and McConnell picked most of them because they “knew their way around DC”. Trump was badly served by that process. Any Trumper was not welcomed into the new administration.
Tulsi Gabbard
Elon Musk was not born in this country?
Here comes the new political party many hoped for. Gone is the GOPe and the Schumer-led ‘Rats.
With Kennedy on board he won’t be able to eliminate the EPA.
If in Trump 2, the Dept of Education goes away, the CIA goes away, and the FDA, NIH and Dept of Agriculture are truly reformed, I’ll take it.
exactly
For God’s Sake ... Stop with this picking what agency who runs.
YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CONSERVATIVE. Anti Government.
If RFK is helping pick people that is GREAT because he won’t be picking from the DC Swamp. He’ll pick activists with NO POLITICAL EXPERIENCE because political experience is the Swamp and political experience got us $36T debt.
The goal of any appointee will be to shrink his agency staff. Relentlessly shrink it and those who have demonstrated ambition to rise within the agency have to be shunted aside to meaningless tasks (you can’t fire govt employees. These people would deserve firing, but that’s illegal). So give them nothing jobs. They will retire after a few months of this and you achieve the goal of removing Swamp filth.
Perhaps most of the benefits of eliminating the EPA and what it has morphed into can be achieved while trumpeting clean air and water by enlisting Elon Musk’s help with government efficiency. This would deny the Far Left progressives a shrill talking point against Trump while focusing the mission and returning a role to state and local governments.
Didn’t he say he’d fight those people in his primary?
Republicans have no one to blame but themselves.
Take the time to listen to the RFK Jr / Tucker Carlson
Interview.
RFK lays out his basic enviro and health care positions.
I’d rather have a JFK / RFK style Dem on our side than a Bush / Cheney.
What about his plan to ban guns and use the environment to take over the country?
