Wow! Can’t Garland charge Trump on some of those same charges at Truth Social too? Ooops! I shouldn’t have said that.

So pictures SHARED using an app, are not only the property of the app, but evidence of a crime? Unlike Google or Facebook, Telegram does not claim ownership of our words or pictures. If they do, I will look for a different messaging app.

They must have trouble decrypting it.
Governments that don’t like you being able to defend yourself also don’t like you having communications they can’t spy on.

OK, It now makes some sense.
Originally, I thought he was accused of doing all those crimes.
He apparently did not do any of these offenses himself, but, since he prevented governments to spy on people, he facilitated all those crimes.
Kind of like Nazi or communist regimes, you are guilty of the crime, if you do not report it, or help government to prosecute.

Macron is ignoring the will of the voters holding on to power.
He has caused another coup. The US has had two coups since 2020.

Refusal to communicate with authorities upon request???No 5th Amendment in Europe. Even here, if there is a search warrant and you are granted immunity, you can be compelled to produce evidence or go to jail if you do not.

I hope Telegram is structured so that it stores no decryption keys on servers, only on apps: you create a group and its key is stored only on your app + your key on your app, and the group key is only shared with those invited.
If so, there's no way Durov can decrypt anyone's messages, so I suspect the point is to shut down such apps by imprisoning the owners/creators.

• Complicity - distributing, offering or making available pornographic images of minors, in organized group,
Why are they stopping with the social media organization? Shouldn't the makers of the cameras used also be charged? Shouldn't the electric companies supplying power to the people distributing and viewing these images also be charged? They're all equally complicit.
Pathetic attempt to stifle free speech.

Remember when Russia, in its previous totalitarian embodiment as the Soviet Union, used to arrest Western facilitators of free speech under the specious pretext of "crimes"?
Well now Western totalitarian regimes arrest Russian advocates of free speech on similar specious pretexts.

Yeah! And gun manufacturers, gun stores and ammunition manufacturers should all be charged when there are mass shootings, right?
