” $1.035 million home”

One quibble: nowhere in Orange County, CA, does a million bucks buy you “glamorous” digs.

Maybe they bought it a long time ago and that was the price then? There is an expensive area of Tustin, but you have to call it North Tustin or you’ll get slapped around. But even in the dregs of Orange County you’re lucky to find something for a million.

I never heard of Tustin as being “luxurious”. My kid had a friend from there, and I checked out the houses and they looked basically 1960s middle class. Tustin is the former home of El Toro Marine Base, which had flight facilities. I went to an air show there about 40 years ago, and a wedding at the officer’s club a few years later.

Could be lawfare.

Could be corruption.

It’s Democrats going after a Republican.

Corruption is just a given today. I remember the time before America became a Banana Republic.

I think the glamorous part has to deal with spending on luxuries with what’s left of the $13 mil after buying 6 properties.

there are deals to be had, tho, like this one:
https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/17401-Parker-Dr-Tustin-CA-92780/25447872_zpid/

buy 6 of them, rent them out short term to relocating execs and you’ll have a sizeable cash flow
