Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT) on Thursday refused to endorse Kamala Harris’s bid for president one day after saying it is more important to elect her than his own reelection as Montana’s senior senator.
Tester hosted a press conference in Missoula and revealed he does not want to endorse Harris because he does not want to “nationalize” his reelection.
“I’m not going to endorse for the presidential, and I’ll tell you why, because — two reasons — because I’m focused on my race, and number two, people want to nationalize this race, and this isn’t about national politics. This is about Montana,” Tester said.

It's absurd to think that Harris's election has absolutely no effect on Montana.
It's unbelievable he could even think of making a statement that incredibly ridiculous.
He’s in a fairly conservative state. To endorse a left wing loon would definitely destroy his campaign.
Yeah...he thinks she is going to lose, so distance from her. This could become a problem for Harris, others might do the same, making her look weaker.
I’m starting to get why his last name is Tester.
He’d sell his soul to stay in power. What a worthless piece of crap.
Also, another indicator that he knows what the REAL polling data is and it isn't pretty so he wants to get ahead of the narrative.
Hmm...some second thought across the board with only the gushing idiots in the media keeping morale up. I’d love to see the internal polls he’s seeing. We won’t, though.
If Kameltoe is elected, he will still vote with her 100% of the time.
