Impeachments are finished. Schumer already set the precedent that the Senate can dismiss impeachment charges without even holding hearings. Democrats did exactly that after the impeachment of Mayorkis.
If the GOP takes over the Senate, it might be a different story.
Just because Biden would be out of office does not mean he can’t be impeached.
Plus the DOJ under Trump would be involved. As would the IRS.

The US Senate has zero to do with impeachment; they only convict after the US House impeaches.
