Ukrainian forces destroyed a bridge over the Seim River in the Glushkovsky district in Russia's Kursk Oblast, Alexey Smirnov, the region's acting governor, claimed on Aug. 16.
The unprecedented operation hit its 10-day mark on Aug. 15, with Kyiv claiming to have seized 1,150 square kilometers of Russian territory and 82 settlements, including the town of Sudzha.
Photos purporting to show the destroyed bridge were published by the Russian Telegram channel Mash, which claimed the bridge had been struck multiple times.
The channel also claimed that about 30 settlements near the village of Glushkovo, approximately 150 kilometers (93 miles) from Kursk, have been "cut off" due to the attack.
Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk posted later a video, showing the attack on the Russian bridge.
"Ukraine's Air Force aviation is actively participating in combat operations in the Kursk sector. Ukrainian pilots are conducting precision strikes on enemy's strongholds, equipment concentrations, as well as on enemy's logistics hubs and supply routes," he said.
The Insider reported that the Glushkovsky district has three bridges across the Seim River, with the other two located near the settlements of Zvannoe and Karyzh.
Roman Alyokhin, an advisor to Kursk Oblast's acting governor and a Russian pro-war blogger, also claimed that Ukrainian forces are targeting the bridge in Zvannoe, about 7 kilometers (4 miles) from Glushkovo, in an attempt to seize part of Kursk Oblast along the river.

It looks a lot like the Russians knew they were coming. So Ukraine’s most experienced units are now, a week later, rattling angrily around inside a killing box inside Russia, scores of miles from the power plant, far from reinforcements or supply lines, trying to … something. We don’t know yet.
It must be nice to live in a fantasy world.

SNIP
….the Wall Street Journal ran a remarkable, long-form, magazine-style article under the headline: “As Ukraine Invades Russia, Kyiv’s Troops Are in Trouble on the Eastern Front.” Uh oh
SNIP
Using around 14,000 of its last, best troops, and a vast array of critical, impossible-to-replace war equipment, Ukraine tried to flip the script by invading Russia in a quiet, remote, sparsely populated area on the northeast corner of the map.
In other words, bantam-sized President Zelensky boldy let slip the dogs of war. But in this case, the dogs of war were more like the miniature poodles of war.

You’re dealing with pro-Russia trolls and propagandists. Talking to them is useless. Best thing to do is to prevent them from screwing Ukraine.
The Russians are the people reporting this. The fake conservatives who are actually pro-Putin trolls and propagandists don’t know what they’re talking about.
Are they marching on Moscow yet?
This is all great - but truth be told, who expects the ukes to be able to hold on to this area for any prolonged period of time?
Maybe they’re not planning on it. Maybe this was a very large and expensive psy-op to undermine the Russian war effort at home.
Nonetheless, the Ukes are gonna have to pull back eventually and defend their own territory.
Looks like Moscow is in their crosshairs.
Putin is getting ready to skedaddle out of Russia. His yacht is in the ready to go to N. Korea.
Y’all are in your ongoing imaginary perspective of what is happening in Russia / Ukraine.
Some items can be looked into.
Specifically the Russia train system is collapsing theory.
It took me about 3 minutes to discover the online ticket sales portal for Russia’s train system. Asked for schedules from Moscow to various places, including their Black Sea beach resort called Anapa.
Had no problems seeing multi trains per day on the schedule.
Is it more or less than a month ago? Don’t know. Didn’t look then. But I think I saw 6 departures for the trip south from Moscow. The other place checked was Novosibirsk.
That’s hundreds of miles east of Moscow. Not an expert on that place other than I know there is a huge hydro electric plant and a well regarded opera and ballet venue.
Anyway, several daily train departures.
Meanwhile, many US Atacams and Himars neutralized,( $$$ down the Ukie toilet), Ukie General “ Butcher” Sirsky rumored to have been liquidated…..time will tell.
Much more, with geo-located video.

Glushkovo bridge in Kursk has been downed after HIMARS strikes. This is one of a handful of crossings over the Seym River in Kursk and isolates a big part of Kursk from resupply.
Please post the names of the supposed fake conservative, pro Putin trolls and propagandists that don’t know what they’re talking about, wannabe Rambo!!
Have you read the papers or watched the news??? On top of the migration explosion, runaway inflation, wars and rumors of wars, we have an election. And you know what that means, that's right - some high grade bovine excrement flinging everywhere. It's drugs or a fantasy world time because this one is depressing.
According to local residents, Ukrainian troops have also attacked a bridge in the village of Zvannoye.
