Anyone with two braincells can figure out what he was trying to say. I just look at our country and short of an act of God I do not see it surviving. There is such abject hatred and frankly, stupidity, out there. Our nation has lost its mind.

Would have been better to say, “The Medial of Freedom” unlike the Medal of Honor, the person receiving the medal is alive and healthy.”

The mental and physical cost of winning a Congressional Medal of Honor is far greater than that for the recipients of the Congressional Medal of Freedom.
I don’t have a problem with what he said.
I think that’s exactly what he was saying. He doesn’t want to give out medals of honors because that means a soldier likely lost his or her life. He’d rather give out medals of freedom. That’s the whole of it.
They are casting it as him sh*tting on Medal of Honor recipients (as they would)

1. They are given the questions ahead of time
2. Only certain reporters are allowed to ask the question,
Trump made it clear how stupid they are. If they have all these great ideas, why not implement them now.

Yes. He was not clearly, but saying

I think he meant maybe two things,
1. that GIVING the award is better (easier) FOR ME, because it’s hard to give a medal to someone who has died or is badly injured.
2. Maybe he mean’t in an awkward way that getting the congressional medal is better for the person getting it, because they’re alive when all to often the person getting the CMH is dead.
He rambles.
