Haniyeh’s killing while under maximum protection by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps tells Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, that Israel has deeply infiltrated the ayatollah’s intelligence and security establishment. Furthermore, unlike in previous years, Israel is now prepared to use its power to strike the Islamic Republic at the highest levels within Iran.

Yes I notice they offer no actual suggestions as to how “taking advantage” will occur. No talk about restoring the Trump sanctions that had Iran on its back a few years ago. Khamenei realizes that in the past year the President of Iran (aka the butcher of Tehran) and his enterogue, more senior Revolutionary Guard leaders and officers, numerous Hamas leaders in Gaza and within Iran have all been targeted and eliminated. Khamenei looks around at his comfortable surroundings and has despite the rhetoric and bluster has decided those virgins in paradise will just have to wait.

Perfect assessment. I think we've been manipulated for way too long by the folks Eisenhower warned us of 75 years ago. As a matter of fact, I am less afraid of Iran, North Korea, Russia, than I am of our own State Department.
