Yep, Uke Nazi Volodymyr Z. did it.
No surprise.

One of the most successful operations in recent military history.
For a small investment the Ukrainians destroyed a Russian asset worth billions, and shut down one of the main funders of their enemy’s economy.

The warrant should have been issued for Victoria N. of the United States.

That’s the middleman. Susan Rice and Jake Sullivan are the planners and asset delivery service providers for the sabotage.

It is a fair target in wartime. International waters, Russian state owned property (but Russian private property is also fair).
Its war. What is piratical or terroristic about it?
Russia is happy to blow up Ukrainian dams, electric infrastructure, railways, apartment buildings, theaters, churches, etc ad infinitum.
Whats so holy about a Russian pipeline?

Thats what I’ve been saying since the beginning.
And I was right. I expect praise and honors, by the way.
Ukraine is the only country who could do this as a legitimate act of war. Given that it is indubitably at war with Russia. All Russian assets in Russia or in international waters are fair game.
As a sailor you should know this I would think. This is SOP in the history of the USN. Your predecessors sank the entire Japanese merchant fleet, whether it was carrying military cargoes or not.

The destruction of the Nordstream pipeline was mainly an attack on western Europe โ to force them to stop buying Russian gas. It would have been comparable to the U.S. bombing British arms manufacturing facilities in WW2 โ to force the Brits to buy arms from the U.S. instead of making their own.
This is the kind of clownish nonsense that makes people like me stop taking U.S. foreign policy seriously.

The fact that Germany considers the destruction of the pipeline a crime should be a giant red flag to any Zeepers on this site.
This wasn't a โRussianโ pipeline. The Nord Stream project is owned by a consortium of energy companies. Russian giant Gazprom owns the largest stake, but the second largest owner is a German company called Wintershall Dea GmbH. And the western terminus of the pipeline is in Germany, not Outer Mongolia.
