A new series, 'Zero Day' will complete filming in Nov of this year to premier on netflix in 2025. Supported by the Taiwanese Ministry of Culture, the series portrays the takeover of Taiwan by the PLA under pretext of search and rescue of a downed pilot. It could be speculated the intensification of arrests in China and heightened level of anti-Taiwan nationalist propaganda may be a reaction.

I am sure that such entities and operations exist, but my immediate thought was this is cover to purge anti-xi factions within China by xi. Dictators like Putin, Stalin and Xi become more and more detached and paranoid as time goes on

It is almost refreshing to read “journalism” from another part of the word - an article written by the government and for the government. There is no “allegedly” or scare-quotes. They are simply spies, and the government outlays the wondrous things it is doing to ferret them out.
