Though I despise McCarthy, like a stopped clock, he is sometimes correct. This is one of those times. Part of what turns off a lot of suburban women about Trump is that he engages in so many personal attacks. He will not lose one single supporter if he stops with those attacks, and instead focuses upon the issues in this campaign. One of those issues is the complete lack of ability that Kamala Harris has to deal with the substantive issues of policy, such as economics, energy, production, immigration and foreign policy.
Trump understands messaging better than anyone on this board. He’s been defying conventional wisdom for the last 8 years and his popularity has never been higher. So instead of advising Trump, why not try figuring out what it is that he sees that you don’t?
McCarthy telling Trump what to do in the WAR we are in is sort of like a Seaman Recruit telling Nimitz how to handle the Battle of Midway.
McCarthy needs to just go away.
Trump is ‘ambidextrous’.
He can chew gum and walk at the same time.
Trump can question the size of Kamala’s crowds and question and attack her on her positions on the issues.
Telling the truth matters, no matter what the issue. Crowd size matters, since the meida and democrats will use any decent size Kkamala rally to point to how popular she is or is becoming. The media dismisses Trump’s rally sizes, but will mention any Kamala ‘crowd’ as very significant. Therefore, question everything and anything related to Kamala and/or her campaign.
Even if it is from McCarthy, it’s still good advice.
As much as I love The Donald, McCarthy is right. The “my thing is bigger than yours” should stop. Hammer policies.
He’s not wrong - Trump should have people in his camp going after stuff like Kamala’s crowds (real or AI-generated). Trump himself should be going after Kamala herself.
Flack!
Go Donald, go!!
Trump 2024-2028 🇺🇸
wow, my smudged glasses read that as” size of Harris’ crotch”
Good Grief!!!
I turn ff FNC every time he appears on it which is to often.
THere is plenty of time to cover all the issues. Almost too much time. Look how quickly the illegality of Kamala’s assumption of Bidens campaign funds and delegates has been memory holed. If Trump was using AI to inflate his crowds, it would be a huge story. That Harris/Walz have done so should be a big deal. It’s not a pissing match about whose crowds are bigger. But too many people fall into the trap of carrying that. The dims have decided to blitz the campaign and hope that they can overwhelm the oppositions ability to counter anything.
Trump can and should methodically take them to the woodshed wherever he can. If reboots too soon to a better topic it will be too soon and lose its impact and get memory holed.
Kevin is right for once.
Trump is pointing out the obvious as he well should. Are we the people really to believe that Harris, who has had a LOWER approval than Joe all these years, suddenly is ‘beating’ Trump and has crowds of thousands? Trump is correct to point out there is clearly no one at the airport; let alone the fact that thousands of people would never be cleared to be on a secure tarmac anyway.
But here, I think he's hit on something that has always bothered me about Trump- sometimes he gets fixated on things which really aren't that relevant, and they usually have to do with things that point to his ego. Crowd sizes, poll numbers, endorsements tend to occupy a lot of his talks, when the time could be spent better on pointing out the differences and the failures of the Democrats.
I generally figure you have to take the good with the bad, and in the long run, the good is very far ahead.
He is not wrong.
Trump needs to stick to the issues and nothing but the issues. If he can find it himself to this he will win hands down.
The size of Kamala’s crowds are not one of the issues.
McCarthy is 100% correct. Trump is beclowning himself. Almost EVERYBODY thinks the talk about crowd size is a stupid distraction.
Trump doesn’t need to say anything himself - many popular posters on X are ripping apart the Harris campaign’s silly AI images for him.
You’re not the boss of anybody, Mac. Shut it.
