CLAIM: “If Donald Trump wins in November, he will once again implement policies that target the LGBTQ+ community.”
VERDICT: MOSTLY FALSE. Trump promoted LGBTQ+ rights and set boundaries on the transgender issue. Vice President Kamala Harris is ramping up the fear machine, telling her supporters that Trump will “target” the LGBTQ+ community.
The Log Cabin Republicans, an established gay rights group within the conservative movement, responded:

The one that absolutely amazes me is that she is running commercials that Trump wants to sign a nation-wide abortion ban. For better or worse, Trump has de-emphasized social issues. The last thing he wants to do is start a crusade against LGBTQ people, or sign an abortion ban. He will enact common sense policies like preventing the Trans-Industry from mutilating kids and preventing perverts from using women’s locker rooms and preventing men from playing in women’s sports.
Trump should go after the MAPs, groomers and transgender brainwashers in the schools. The LBBQWERTY’s have gone so far I don’t know what they could possibly do next. Maybe make every depravity mandatory in first grade.
Catch them in the act and then what? There’s nothing to grab.
They say stuff like this hoping “conservatives” will abandon Trump if hee denies it.
She lies like Joe and Obama. She lies like a democrat.

Conservatives should have known way back in 2016 that Trump was a libertarian on social issues.
That was one of the big issues in the 2016 primary.
