Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his Iranian counterpart Ali Bagheri Kani on Sunday that the Chinese Communist Party supports Iran “defending its sovereignty, security and national dignity” prior to an expected Iranian attack on Israel.
The Iranian Islamist regime has been threatening a large-scale attack on Israel for nearly two weeks in response to the killing of Hamas “political” leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran on July 31. An explosion in Haniyeh’s lodgings eliminated the terror chief during a visit to Iran for the inauguration of current President Masoud Pezeshkian. The elimination of such a high-ranking terrorist leader under the security of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, was a major embarrassment for the Iranian regime.
No country, including Israel, or other entity has taken responsibility for the explosion, but Iranian officials were quick to claim that Israeli forces, with American aid, executed the attack. IRGC leaders have been promising to rain down Iran’s “holy wrath” on the Jewish state since the assassination, but have yet to conduct any known attack at press time.

Lip Service, just irrelevant lip service
we’re getting close to 2 weeks.
Isn’t there a shelf-life for “retaliation?”
Well...Hezbollah has reportedly evacuated its Beirut headquarters which included “political” offices....could indicate they’re preparing for an attack on Israel and estimates the response would target its facilities in the capital, which has been largely off-limits during the ongoing fire exchanges with Israel.
Like Russia, China is playing both sides, keeping its options open.
These morons sure like letting their mouths write checks that their fannies can’t cash.
Bad news morons: there is Someone Who will cash those checks and they will NOT like the payout.
Like Russia, China is playing both sides
Interesting. I’ve been watching pretty closely and I have only seen China and Russia playing one side. After all, Russia needs Iran and its drones just like it needs more missiles from North Korea.
They would do well to think twice. So sick of Irans constant misplaced hatred!
I think they will attack Israel over the next couple of days during Tishah B’Av.
That awaited attack may just not occur. Israel has demonstrated some capabilities that might be intimidating to the mullahs. They would worry about risking their own nuclear advance. They have to worry that now if they go the ultimate route and launch a nuclear missile, even in a cloud of smaller rockets and drones, it just might not get far enough to clear Iranian airspace before it gets neutralized. And there is that laser development. The mullahs don’t know how far that has come and losing a nuclear missile over Iran would be at least humiliating.
Israel opens China-operated Haifa port to boost regional trade links.
U.S. Navy may stop docking in Haifa after Chinese take over port.
China’s taking over ports all around the world. Believe me, that’s not some kind of favor to Israel.
Putin to inaugurate Israel’s Red Army monument
Netanya is making hurried preparations for Russian president’s visit to inaugurate a World War II memorial.

You know what year it is?
there will be a 7 year peace agreement
Of course not.
Neither China or Israel are in the business of doing favors.
Israel benefits from China. China benefits from Israel. So China is not going to fully back Iran, not while it has business interests in Israel.
Like I said, China is playing both sides, keeping its options open.
The irony is that much of Iran’s drone technology were provided to them by China, and China obtained a bunch of military technology including drone technology from...Israel.
Trade?
Israeli-Russian trade still prospering despite Ukraine War
We trade with China as well
the insane Iranian dictators are just begging to have their country destroyed
they’ll be very surprised just how fast this can be accomplished
