Derek Chauvin, fired Minneapolis officer who killed George Floyd, moved to transfer prison facility

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer serving a long sentence for the murder of George Floyd more than four years ago, has been moved without public explanation from a federal prison in Arizona to a transfer facility in Oklahoma, according to government records.

The U.S. Bureau of Prisons says Chauvin is now housed at its administrative security federal transfer center in Oklahoma City. The bureau’s handbook for the facility describes the Oklahoma City prison as a lockup for inmates that includes “in-transit holdovers and parole violators.”

Bureau spokeswoman Randilee Giamusso said Monday that Chauvin’s transfer occurred Friday, but she declined to disclose the reason for the 48-year-old inmate’s move or whether sending him to another federal facility is being planned.

“For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss the conditions of confinement for any individual, including reasons for transfer,” Giamusso said.

However, Chauvin’s mother said in a social media post over the weekend that his time in Oklahoma City will be short-lived.

It’s a a federal prison....the Minnesota DOC has nothing to do with it.

As far as being moved without explanation, that’s a security measure. He probably didn’t even know himself until a few hours prior to moving.

As to why, who knows......inmates get transferred around all the time.

Another example of how well our court system functions.

Dramatically misleading headline ... George Floyd killed himself with fentanyl.

Not a word about the fact that Derek Chauvin was nearly MURDERED while in the hands of the corrupt FedGov.

Damn straight George Floyd killed George Floyd!

And the blood of innocent Derek Chauvin is on the hands of the corrupt prosecution, corrupt judge, corrupt jurors, indeed the rank corruption of the entire city of Minneapolis and Minnesota State governments. (And a good deal of the marxist residence of both entities as well.)

Add in the corrupt Biden DOJ that piled on after the state had its turn at sodomizing Mr. Chauvin.

Justice will be served on all of those wicked murderers, one way or the other.

Yep, like many, I tried the knee on the neck. As expected, it was uncomfortable, but I was talking and breathing the entire 10+ minutes.

It would have been easier if I had been cuffed somehow, because my arms got really tired when holding them in a cuffed position.

After further viewing of pics I realized that the knee was off center: partially on the lower neck and partially on left shoulder blade. Tried that and found it to be much better than only on the lower neck.

And the cop was supposedly about 160 pounds. 4 point stance, He probably was only putting 60 or 70 pounds on that area. GF was a big guy, with a strong upper body.

We breathe with the abdomen. Nobody was sitting on that.

Conclusion: just say no to drugs.

George Floyd. Model citizen, wouldn’t hurt a fly, supported and coached teen sports, gave his money, resources and time to help build a better community. He was a mentor to those who would otherwise be members of street gangs, looked upon as a second father. Helped out with a grow a row effort which made gardens out of empty deserted lots to give fresh veggies to feed the poor. Unfortunately, he died at the hands of a Nazi who was a real racist. There, did I spin it enough? Hey, CBS! Can I get a job now?

I’m sure Derek Chauvin must wake up every morning and not yet fathom what happened to him and how the Communists destroyed his life and the rest of the world being bamboozled into going along with it. Chauvin became the poster boy for the Commies to declare war on law enforcement and attach civilized society.

Chauvin was sacrificed to prevent more cities from burning, and perhaps dozens of people from being killing in the rioting.

Strong regimes enforce their laws. Weak regimes placate their mobs.

exactly- in order to cut off the air, it woudl have also cut off his ability to speak, which he was doing the whole time=- clearly and loudly- I also tried it and found i could speak and breathe just fine, BUT when i put myself in a choke-hold, i could not speak normally or breathe- at no point did Chauvin ever put Floyd in as choke-hold- At no point did Floyd's voice alter as though pressure was preventing him from breathing-

That fact alone should have been enough to exonerate Chauvin- but the verdict had already been given BEFORE the trial ever started-

And just for the record- the jury was intimidated by being followed by stalkers when they were bused back and forth- that should result in a mistrial because it tainted their verdicts-

Also- jurors feared beign assautled or worse if they didn't find him guilty
