Camping World have hit back at California officials after they demanded the company take down their huge American flag from the front of their store.
The RV sales store in Stockton, San Joaquin County, like the vast majority of their other outlets, has a huge Old Glory flying over its ground.
In April, the San Joaquin County Community Development halted the flag however for alleged safety reasons and lack of permission.

Your text really should include how the business shocked the woke officials.
Camping World should tell them they don’t need their stinking communist permission to fly the flag.
The old days-——
Detroit’s JL Hudson department store——Huge flag was shown on Thanksgiving Day parades and other events.
“Hudson’s had the unique distinction of owning the world’s largest flag. At 3,700 square feet, it was first hung on Armistice Day in 1923 and later displayed at the World’s Fair in 1939. The original flag, last displayed in 1949, was replaced with a new, even larger, seven-story flag.”
A 3700 sq ft flag! That’s BIG.
From the article:
The county said in a statement: ‘Camping World’s flagpole was installed with neither a building permit nor planning approval, therefore they are in conversation with the code enforcement division.’
[snip]
‘A code enforcement case was opened and the business was informed that they needed to get a building permit for the flagpole.’
[snip]
Lemonis said then that he was prepared to be arrested and sent to jail, saying: ‘As I told the city…it’s not coming down under any circumstance.
[snip]
City leaders later decided to rezone the area around the store to allow the flag to stay within compliance.
Good for this man, push back against these bullies.

cattle prods im guessing?
3700 sq ft = about 44ft x 83.6ft, based on the proportions of a US flag.
Since when do you need permission to fly the American flag in the US? This edict tramples all kind of rights granted to US citizens. I’d tell them to pound sand.
Prods would have been good and proper for the woke jerks.
San Joaquin County has announced they never made such a request or demand.
This just may be genius marketing.
“cattle prods im guessing?”
For woke officials, turn the darned thing to 11 and keep prodding until they die, die, DIE.
Burn the remains and launch into the sun. Gotta keep the earth free of vermin, excrement, and slime.
There is a Camping Workd in Bath NY (also home to a National Cemetery and Veterans’ Facility) with a huge flag. They are also the prime sponsor for NASCAR at the Glen to be held soon.
I’m still rankled the head of Camping World criticized President Trump and told Trump supporters not to shop at his businesses.
Hard to tell if things have changed at Camping World or if the business is flying the flag for commercial purposes.
Nice headline….not
Camping World on I985 going from Atlanta towards Gainesville has one flying and we always love looking at it when we drive by.
“City leaders later decided to rezone the area around the store to allow the flag to stay within compliance.”
LOL! Well done by the publication, saving until the end the fact it’s a non-issue.
They pushed back.
The state of California is accustomed to businesses saying meekly "Thank you sir! May I have another?"
This guy said, "No."
A wonderful word, No. It is what distinguishes a free man from a slave. A free man uses it. A slave can not.
Unlike a number of people who meekly bleat "bu-u-u-t t-h-h-e la-wwwwww!" while bowing down and dropping their drawers he told them No.
And the Hate America FIRST bunch backed down.
Amazing how that happens.
Well it’s a far cry from telling Trump supporters not to shop at his stores.
