National political polls are struggling to grapple with the revived Democratic presidential ticket, but two that have been updating regularly show an advantage for former President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.
CNBC and Rasmussen Reports have new data on Thursday giving Trump an edge, with CNBC attributing his lead to growing concerns about the economy and a surge of support from middle-aged voters.
CNBC said Trump leads by 2 points, 48%-46%, within the margin of error.
In that survey, Trump leads Harris 2-to-1 on who would handle the economy better.
What’s more, while Harris has helped to revive Democratic support from youthful voters, there has been a swing to Trump among millennials and Generation X voters.
“Young voters showed far greater support for Harris than they did for Biden, backing the vice president now by 10 points, compared to backing Trump by 2 points in the NBC July poll. That was offset by a big swing of 12 points among voters aged 35-49 towards Trump. The age group now supports Trump by 9 points,” the story on the poll said.
In the Rasmussen Reports poll, Trump has maintained his lead, 49%-44%, in a head-to-head contest.
The big change in that survey is the apparent shift of support from Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to Trump. A week earlier, Trump led Harris by just 1 point in the six-way matchup, while Kennedy was at 5%. Now, Kennedy is at 3%, and Trump leads Harris in that multi-candidate lineup 49%-44%.

Good point. Why Montana? His internal polling is clearly different than what the propaganda arm of the satanic party want the public to believe. Just look at some of the posters here who are armchair strategists, they are falling for this. We’ve been through enough election cycles to know, this is still early. 2.5 months is a LONG time.
About 20 years ago, I required emergency neurosurgery due to an immediate, surprise issue with my upper spinal cord, that could have paralyzed me from the neck down. I was actually pulled off the examining table of a chiropractor and referred to this surgeon in 5 mins. Lucky that the guy examining the MRI films had been a previous student of this surgeon.
He called his previous professor, and ordered me a few miles away to see him at once. He was the most cold, obnoxious guy I ever met.
The only “nice” thing this guy said to me was “be careful driving home, one sudden stop and you’re done. Wear the seatbelt tight. I’ll see you in a week.”
The neurosurgeon’s work was perfect, flawless. It’s only because of him that I’m mobile today.
His name was Dr. Herbert Bell, Cleveland Clinic. While he lived to be 92 and was still active, he continued to operate into his 80’s. I am forever grateful.
Don’t choose the employee for the job at hand with emotion. Pick the right person for the right job, and set your warm fuzzies aside. Your life might depend on it.

We were watching something on tv yesterday and there was a reporter doing kind of a ‘man on the street’ thing asking the people at the Harris Walz rally questions. He asked 3 or 4 people….so what has Kamala done in the last 4 years to make you want to vote for her? Crickets. They were stumped. Then he started rattling off what Walz and Harris’ positions are. They were all like….oh no, I don’t agree with that!
Half of this country is brain dead.
Polls aren’t the end all be all but they show where the MOVEMENT is. At the end of Harris’s honeymoon period, Trump is leading on the last two polls on RCP. As Jeb would say, this is a BIG DEAL!
They were moving her way at the start of the honeymoon. It’s been 3 weeks. The honeymoon is over. Polls are swinging back Trump’s way already.
The fact that there’s any race at all, let alone a close one, is pointing to a very serious problem with the people, and the press.

I remember way back to the first time I heard the name Barak Obama, and that he was going to run for president. I actually laughed! I remember saying at the time, “This guy must be delusional! Who the heck would vote for someone with the name Barak HUSSEIN Obama? Especially after 9/11?”
How wrong I was. I still maintain, however, that there was voter fraud involved, especially for his second term. I said back then that he was an Iranian plant, and I still believe that.
Trump is holding his fire because kamala may not be the democratic nominee. traditionally attacks wait until after the opponents convention.

My “hope” is Trump is holding fire until Harris is 100% locked in after the DNC convention. At which point he will unleash hell when it is too late to switch from Harris like they did Biden.
All I know is, Trump has more reasons than most to do whatever is necessary to win, since he very freedom is at stake if he losses. All the legal delays will have been for nothing if he is not elected.
You and I are pretty much on the same page.
